Horrible stay - NO RECOMMENDATION AT ALL
I was anything but pleased with my stay in this hotel:
- I had booked a more expensive pool-view room and got a room where 2/3 of the view from the balcony was facing a rooftop with extremely loud and ugly AC and power generators! If anyone was sitting on the balcony he did not understand a word when someone in the room was talking to him due to that noise level.
- The connection door in the room was anything but pleasent, as in the adjacent room was a family with a continiously yelling infant which added an extra level of awful noise starting from 5am.
- I expressed my severe discontent about the room at the reception already after my first night, but nothing was changed nor another room offered to me.
- On the final invoice I was billed for a salad I was told would be complimentary. After mentioning that I was promised that this charge would be refunded to my credit card, which still hasn't happened.
- In addition, I was initially extra charged for WiFi usage although I had entered my Marriott number during any login in the hotel's WiFi system so I have no clue why this gets charged then in first place?
- With regard to the already high room charges the costs for parking are ridiculous.
- The pool is basically a kids' pool, but not a proper pool for swimming in terms of the water depth.
- I had ordered a Gin Tonic at the bar which was completely not drinkible tasting like bathroom cleaner what also other people that I asked to taste it confirmed.
