From our arrival to our farewell, which was, 'See you again in two weeks' this resort was the promise of paradise. The food, drinks, and entertainment all met the mark, but what truly stood out was the staff. They were everywhere, doing everything with a gesture of graceful respect in every interaction.
Yes, the resort was packed, but we didn’t mind the wait because, in that atmosphere, even waiting was pleasurable. A quick heads-up for future guests: the airport lines were long (1 hour upon arrival and 1 hour and 20 minutes to get to the gate to leave), so you should definitely plan to use the restroom before you get in line!
Anyway, we will certainly be back... perhaps not in two weeks, but as soon as we can. We travel a lot, and we will definitely return. I specifically want to mention Maria A. (morning hostess at El Mercado and lunch hostess at the Navigator Grill). I’m in the 'people' business and know exactly what service feels, looks, and sounds like; she represented everything we hoped to experience at your resort. Congrats to the entire team at Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana. Of course, there were so many others who we will remember, so we thank them all.
