Wyndham Grand Pittsburgh Downtown

Clean hotel, clean room, carpets are a little dated, but clean. Elevators are fast! Guest service workers are nice and helpful. The only complaint I have would be with the coffee shop/snacks/food place. There was only one register which caused timely backups through out the day. We were attending a convention and with the hotel restaurants being closed thanks to Covid-19, this was the only place to get food/coffee/drink in the hotel. There needs to be more than one register and cashier/barista working during the rush times. I was able to walk to a Starbucks that is .2 miles away, place my order, receive my order and walk back with my latte and bagel all while the same people were still waiting in line at the hotel coffee shop. Super slow service.

I don’t like how there’s no where to park without paying so much and parking in a lot away from the hotel is a bit of a turnoff also my room didn’t have a refrigerator or a microwave which I think that at least one of the two should be in there

Moldy bathroom

Manager Adam was very helpful. Check-in was easy. Room needs updated. Beds are old and uncomfortable. Some residual trash particles below curtain (when open). Hallways, Elevators, and lobby very clean.

I have stayed at this hotel dozens of times. Very clean nice rooms, great location. Close to everything.

The picture of this room is not correct. There is no wall no separation between bed and couch. I expected and needed something similar to the picture.

I was impressed with the lobby and the staff at check in, but that changed once I got to the shoe box of a room I stayed in. Way too small for a King size bedroom. The room was old and outdated, the bed was only partially made and there was no remote for the TV. Had to ask twice for a blanket and the remote which took hours to get. The bathroom is SMALL to say the least and the sliding door was off the track. The halls are dark and the wall paper is peeling. And then there is the $35 valet fee for my car to sit in the same spot I parked it in for two day. There way too many places to stay in Pittsburgh for me to spend that kind of money for a substandard room. I will not be back.

Everything was great, except for the toilet backed up and the entryway door broke. Also we think the Baltimore Ravens were staying there our last night. They were very loud.

Room had chair covered in human hair, changed room. Attended convention with excellent safety precautions but lack of sufficient eating accommodations. Should have provided late checkout for those attending convention that ended at 3:30 to decrease crowding in lobby while parents waited for convention to end.
