----- There was no electricity in my room, other than in the bathroom and the single plug for the refrigerator. That meant no room lights, no bedside lights, no TV, no working plugs for recharging a phone or laptop (had to bring them onto the tiny bathroom counter for the only working plug in there), no coffee machine, no chair/desk light, no clock, no hallway light, etc. I reported it to the Front Desk, but it was after 6P and they said Engineering (Housekeeping?) had left for the day and nothing could be done about it then. I asked for a room change and they said they were sold out and every room was taken. It was an “interesting” experience spending a night in a hotel room with virtually no electricity or lights (kept the only light on that was working in the room – the bathroom light, and occasionally used my iPhone flashlight for the bedroom room).
----- The Wi-Fi signal was good, but the system kept signing me out every two hours or so. It needs a screenname/password to sign back on, so this was a big hassle to constantly keep signing in all day and night long. And in the beginning, I didn’t even know it had signed me out, so I was unknowingly using cellular data (which costs $$$). Most other hotels you don’t sign you out, or the sign-in lasts 24 hours.
----- The Front Desk clerk was very smug about things. In reading Trip Advisor reviews, a bunch of travelers called him rude. I would call him smug instead. He didn’t seem to care about anything.
