Garbage everywhere. Was missing complimentary items such as ice bags, etc. Bed was dirty, absolutely rude customer service. Somebody used a key and barged into our hotel room while I was changing, they had no coffee in the morning and we're completely out of water. The walls, ceiling and bathtub were stained and had patches in them.

Perhaps the hotel is understaffed? No toilet paper or tissue upon check in, called and requested some, went out for several hours, returned, still no TP. Food from previous guests remained in the fridge. My husband moved the lamp on the nightstand and it was evident it hadn’t been properly cleaned in a very, very long time. The carpets throughout the building were stained and gross, and even sticky in our room. I also had no phone service and could not connect to their wifi. We joked that was how they kept me from posting a bad review. Only stayed one night for a concert and was thankful to leave the next morning. The front desk staff was friendly enough, and the prices for snacks at their little shop was unexpectedly reasonable!

Everything seemed run down. The bathroom is gross. The carpet is disgusting. I do not plan on coming back.

It's pretty expensive given that they don't offer parking as a part of your stay and it's located around nothing but paid lots. They do offer valet but it costs extra and the room is expensive enough. It was clean and everything worked fine, but if it wasn't the only option located even remotely near the city I would've gone elsewhere.

This hotel should be avoided. We checked pretty smoothly and got to our room. We noticed the thermostat was set at 65 but the room temp was 80. We called the desk, they said someone would come to fix it. Hour passes. No one comes, we call again and are told someone will be there to fix it soon. We leave for dinner. The AC is still not fixed when we return from dinner. Call the desk and they say the maintenance person won't be there until the morning and was actually never there on the day we checked in. The second day we are out all day, expecting the AC will be fixed when we return. We return to the AC sill unfixed. There was no communication that this work was not done. We just had to go to our room to find this out the hard way. We were lied to or just not communicated with by the staff numerous times in our weekend stay. To their credit they did give us two box fans and comped our stay. However this is now way to operate. Seemed like other guests were having issues and getting a runaround from the desk. Seems like a Hilton hotel should have the resources to train staff and maintain their property better. The fact that it was a "guy" coming to fix the AC seemed odd. Shouldn't a large chain have a contract with HVAC techs available 24/7? We had stayed in past years at this location and had a better stay. COVID broke this place I guess. I will say the valet was very dependable.

Parking garage elevator out of service so had to carry luggage up and down 2 flights of stairs. For paid parking should of been comped with elevator out. Bathroom toilet continuously running and noisy. Bathtub tiles moldy. No breakfast options like bagged to go or water. No info given for WiFi - after calling to front desk were told internet was out. Not Hampton Inn usual good standards.

The hotel was very dirty and the WiFi was poor. Cable went out, but that could have been due to storms. The toilet ran the entire evening and there was definitely some mechanical challenges with the AC. Would not recommend a stay here.

It was comfortable enough given we were out most of the time. We questioned whether the bed was made when we arrived, it was a bit of a throw the sheets on, pillows will be fine at odd angles too; thankfully we had a laugh to ourselves, but definitely set the expectation of the stay. I think the upkeep of the hotel during the pandemic has certainly fallen off; little things like ice machine not working, no extra towels, small ones is all they had.

Just a quick overnight but the website still talks about a free hot breakfast and a pool and hot tub, which were all not available "due to covid" but that should be made clear on the website.

Showed up at 12:00 PM for my reservation (July 31, 2021). I was told by the desk agent check-in isn’t until 3 PM and they can’t accommodate early check-in. Okay. Understandable, no problem. Went out to lunch and came back at 4 PM. From there, was told the room is still not ready. Annoying, but fine. Came back at 6 PM. Room still not ready. Response from front desk was “we are short staffed and other guests are being patient.” No apology. This is absolutely unacceptable. We had a wedding reception to get to by 7 PM, and were forced to change our clothes and get ready in the restroom of the nearby TJ Maxx. Finally received a phone call that the room was ready at 7 PM. We arrive back to the hotel after the reception around 11 PM and got checked in. Really quick check-in process. ID, card for incidentals, gave me my key and up we went. Room was a mess. Pillows spread around the bed, bed only halfway made. Toilet paper rolls on the ground in the bathroom, and the holder was broken. Stains on the carpeting. Bathtub had stains on the floor. On top of the uncleanly room, there was a constant buzzing and clicking noise from A/C unit all night, and the view was of a building’s wall. No breakfast “due to COVID”. I called in advance to see if the pool was open, and I was told it is. Nope - pool is also closed. Great location, but stay somewhere else!! I really expected better from a Hilton hotel. Many other better hotels in the area for a worthwhile trip to MKE.
