Charming hotel with great service.
Small room but very clean. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Even during Covid, they offered grab and go breakfast. Nice location.
Room was clean and in great shape. Heater had been left on max/high by previous guest or by housekeeping. The room was sweltering! Ran the A/C all night...in November! Finally comfortable by morning. Fridge wasn’t working; maybe it had overheated? We stayed during the off-season and on Thanksgiving...and in the midst of Covid-19. Needless to say, town was VERY quiet!
Good room at a decent fsur price
Great location! We stayed there so that we could be close to the Yellowstone west entrance. The room was clean, nice and comfortable. Had a great experience overall.
Did not know Park was closed so we only stayed one night. Motel was great but the pits for our vacation. Everything I read before going kept saying that the park is open every day of the year, it failed to say only one small part was open.
It was an older, basic Motel. Maybe it was due to COVID restrictions but they don’t automatically give you soap or toiletries. You had to request them from the office. Also, our door didn’t always close all the way. It was just old and needed maintenance. Staff was friendly though and it was clean.
Parking is bad, we could never find a parking next to our room but staff was friendly and help us find a spot, not next to our room but close.
Some of the room items were a little dated, but the bed was comfortable. The parking lot was pretty rough - not enough parking and people with long vehicles parking in spaces that weren't meant for their vehicles. I parked in the gravel lot behind the building, which had no lighting, unfortunately. In the middle of the day before I checked out, I found that they are not using PPE as shown in Expedia's Cleaning and Safety Practices. I saw 7 cleaning staff working (since it's an open front building, not enclosed hallways). None of the staff were wearing gloves. 2 were wearing masks properly, 2 had masks that didn't cover their noses, and 3 were not wearing masks at all. The desk staff were friendly and they had good protective shielding, though I wish I didn't have to sign with a shared pen. In general, my stay was fine, though I don't have a lot of faith in the cleaning practices since I saw so many employees being lax with PPE. I'm not overly paranoid, but I am cautious because the consequences of this illness warrant a little extra care, and I don't feel that the staff was taking this seriously.
