Best Western Plus Vancouver Mall Dr. Hotel & Suites

I don’t even know where to begin. We came to celebrate my daughters birthday just my husband, daughter and I. We called a few days before asking if we could use the pool said yes we had to reserve. Got here at 430pm all the slots were taken. Okay no problem. Lady in the front said to call first thing at 6am. We got to our room and the bathroom was broken. Had to switch us room. But didn’t even try to help us. We called again and they said you need to come downstairs and I’m very busy so it’s going to take a while. Switch us room, no problem. Now the next morning we called at 550am and the lady said nothing was available till 1pm. How is that even possible? I lost it. I was so upset the lady in the front desk was laughing at me. While I explain to her that it was my daughters 2nd Birthday with Covid going on this is the best we could do for her. I asked numerous times for her name and she said she had the right to refuse to not give me that information. I told her how am I not gonna be upset. We came all the way over here just to take her in the pool. If we would of known it was this hard we would of just not spent all this money. I am heartbroken! No party for my daughter and now she won’t even know what being in the pool is either. And the fact that the front desk are so rude and they laugh at u just upsets me.

Hotel wqs clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable.

Average service, stain on sheet in one bed, smell in room triggered asthma. Good: made sure guests were wearing masks, excellent price, great parking, close to freeway, no noise issues.

Beds were horrible ! Asked for non adjoining room and they gave me just that!

The hotel lobby amd our room was very clean. Room were very quiet.

I checked into this hotel on 1/7/21 around 8:30 pm. First, I found old half eaten Chinese takeout boxes in the fridge. Ok, I understand, maybe they forgot to check it. I threw away the boxes and let the staff know about it. No big deal.

Everything was close by the hotel, the mall the freeway and places to eat

Great stay! Friendly and helpful staff. Very clean and following covid-19 guidelines to keep guests and staff safe. I stayed in a king suite with a jacuzzi tub and everything was sparkling clean, the bed was big and comfortable. For breakfast a form is filled out allowing you to pick and choose what youd like and it was prepared for you. I would definitely stay here again.
