Drury Inn & Suites Birmingham Lakeshore Drive

Nice stay, only minor quibble was there is not coffee maker in the room. When travelling for work, that is an amenity I appreciate. Excellent front desk staff, and nice to still have the breakfast option.

Drury Inn is usually my first choice when staying away from home. I am used to the Buffet kick back rather they had servers. The portions were about enough to feed a five year old and I have teenagers. They had preferences for those who they chose to give a little more. The food was not prepared according to directions the noodles were swimming in watery sauce and they had to shake them out before they put them on your plate. The staff that were serving could have been a lot nicer. Front desk clerks were amazing and very friendly. Maybe the servers were overwhelmed and need a break.

We had an excellent experience at the Drury. It was clean, comfortable, and the staff was wonderful. Chantal, at the front desk, was friendly, efficient, and made us feel very welcome. We enjoyed a hot b’fast served by Selene who was cheerful. Housekeeper, Zaidutu, met us in the hall and greeted our dog with enthusiasm and was very nice. Asked how we liked our stay. Jasmine, front desk, wished us well upon departure. All we can say is that between mgt and whoever owns this hotel, they are doing things the right way. All staff are exceptional. We will be sure to stay here again. Well done!

I will definitely stay again. The staff was friendly and the hotel was well maintained and clean. The area around was nice and lots of shopping and restaurants nearby.

The snacks/beverages were out when we arrived. It was a wonderful surprise for traveling all day. Free tacos and beer/wine/pop. The am breakfast was just as good. They figured out to serve a hot meal during these covid circumstances. Thank you!

I have stayed at Drury Inns before and was impressed with cleanliness of the hotels. The Drury Inn that is located in Birmingham, AL was like the others when it came to friendliness of the staff and cleanliness of the common areas. The only issue I had was the room I was given had stains on the carpet and the bathroom had urine around the toilet and the floor was stinky. When I informed the front desk staff about the issue she immediately contacted the house keeping staff to clean the area. I believe it was re-cleaned with a damp mop because there were still spots that looked dirty. I guess not all properties are maintained with a high standard. This one incident will not deter me from staying at a Drury Inn but I will do a better job at reviewing the reviews prior to staying.

It was a great stay very comfortable and clean
