Positives:
- Hotel is situated in the jungle which allows for a unique and immersive nature experience
- The 16 villas are beautiful and spacious, completely open and well equipped with a lot of attention to detail and local craftsmanship
- Very private and quiet
- Own waterfall and rice field on the property
- Complimentary morning yoga
- Sustainably sourced, plant-based food from the very own garden and close surroundings
Negatives:
- The service was extremely friendly but not well organized. They send you a link to a guest portal where you can fill out preferences, arrival time etc. Even though I did it they asked me several times again to fill it in. On arrival they didn’t have the correct info on file and even requested me to send them the booking confirmation from Expedia (which I found a bit odd and never experienced before)
- The sheets and towels were not clean. There were stains on almost everything
- Turndown service is from 5-7pm. They arrived at 5pm so I asked them to kindly return in 1h as I was just about to take a shower. They said yes but didn’t come back. At 7pm nobody had showed up still
- When leaving they said they would send someone for the luggage 10min before I was being picked up. Nobody showed up, my driver had to wait another 15min for the luggage
Overall it’s a very unique and beautiful experience with breathtaking views of the jungle. But you have to be into camping and being very close to nature (since they are very eco-friendly they don’t
