Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas All Inclusive

The air conditioning was broke..We got a room with a hot tub on the balcony. Unfortunately, there was no hot water for that hot tub. Was extremely bummed.

The resort is beautiful! We stayed in the jacuzzi suite and the views were Amazon! The staff was so nice and made sure we were comfortable our entire stay! The food on the resort was very good and the staff is following covid rules! Highly recommended staying at the palace !

Beautiful property with a lot of potential. Ocean is absolutely gorgeous and well kept. Not sure if it’s just because Covid has taken a toll however, but the restaurants were not all that impressive. Only the buffet is open for lunch& brkfst. At 6 is the only time you can venture to a couple of other restaurants which aren’t open every day. Getting into the steakhouse is tough noogies unless you wait for over an hour. But every restaurant runs on the exact same menu every single day when it is open. Nothing super incredible but average food overall. We were in an Oceanside suite that had a roof leaking outside from a hot tub above 😖 Key cards broke down and wouldn’t work. At checkout on our last day, front desk staff was rude and unhelpful. I was told I was to pay extra because of some “phone call” that was made when our phone in the damn room didn’t even work! (Not to mention I had my cellphone and no reason to use it- but she didn’t care to listen to me). Made my boyfriend run all the way back to the room to grab a dirty beach towel and lug it all the way back as apparently a towel card charges you out the wazoo unless you bring it back to them (while being rushed by our transportation). Seriously embarrassing and completely unnecessary and the attitude was not appreciated at all. Anytime we asked for any amenities, whether it was games or even a deck of cards, or mouthwash- they were unable to provide anything. Wouldn’t even provide a reliable taxi service contact #

The the staff, and cleanliness went above and beyond. When it came to the cooking it was mediocre. I’m not if it was due to COVID-19. Each of the chefs at all the restaurants over cooked the meals. We had all inclusive so food was including however, we ended up going out to eat. I will add that if you’d like to go on tours while you’re there use the hotel staff that’s located by the towel area. The ladies will offer you great and reasonable tourists activities. Overall it’s good hotel to me.

Loved our stay at the RIU Palace!! Great location, very clean, friendly service!! Will definitely consider staying here again!

I liked the staff and the location. The virus put a damper on things though! They were only a few guest staying there, so their revenue was done so they had to cut cost by closing some restaurants and food options on their buffet.

This place was terrible. They are not accommodating at all. The room was old and smelled horrible. The safe didn’t work and the toilet was running. They didn’t listen to any of our concerns. I will never stay at another riu palace hotel again.

We had a great time at the Riu Palace! We really appreciated how they took extra measures to make sure the resort was sanitized and clean. The food at the speciality restaurants was just okay. Many times we’d eat at a speciality restaurant, and then head to the buffet. We loved the many choices at the buffet. The amenities were great! The staff was always pleasant! We will definitely return!

Overall it was okay. Not too impressed. I booked a ocean view room and I got a partial view and Im very disappointed with it. Property is super clean. Staff wearing mask all the time and check your temperature due covid.
