Courtyard by Marriott St. Petersburg Downtown

Checked in and found out it cost $18 per day to park which is not included in your daily hotel rate. There isn’t any free breakfast, just a “bistro” in the mornings that has a limited and overpriced breakfast menu. The room we were first put in had some kind of sticky stains on one of the tables. We reported this to the front desk as we were going to dinner and asked that it get cleaned. Came back from dinner and the stains were still there and then we also noticed there were coffee stains on the counter by the coffee maker. Big disappointment considering we are in a pandemic and cleanliness is supposed to be top notch. We called down to the front desk and we were moved to another room. We had to re-pack our stuff up and we had to go down to the lobby to get the new room cards. Thankfully the new room was clean. The hotel does have a pool and hot tub that were open and the location was close to the wedding venue we were there for.

Chose the hotel because of the name and expected better then we got. Liked the location. Were told that becasue of the pandemic there were no employees, not to use any door but the side door and there was no breakfast. Housekeeping was probably non existent because the carpets in the hallway were obviously not vaccumed and the furniture in the room was not dusted- there were food crumbs on the desk. The beds were obviously old. It was an overnight stay but probably would not stay there again.

The housekeeping attendant, Michael, was excellent!! He had very good ‘people skills’ and kept our room neat, clean & re-stocked!! And...Alicia in the breakfast area was excellent!! She was very friendly and took extra time to make our breakfast order as we requested!! Thank you Alicia!!🤗👍

The hotel was nice, the historic building it’s in is filled with character! Also loved that it was in walking distance to many restaurants and museums!

Great Service/Great Hotel

Everyone was very helpful and friendly. The rooms were nice. The indoor pool and tub were excellent. They had a free shuttle service for downtown. It was raining, so even though we only wanted to go a few blocks down the road, the shuttle guy was great. He took us everywhere until 11pm. I would rather tip him than pay for parking or drive for that matter. We will stay here again.

The worst ever. Ruined my trip!

They overbooked and have my room away. Instead of being downtown where everything I had come to St. Petersburg is.. They shuttled me off to a hotel off the highway behind a gas station miles from anything. No apologies.. nothing. Totally ruined my entire trip. So angry 😡
