The Sands at Grace Bay

Given COVID conditions the staff provided the care required. It would have been helpful had they consolidated their guests (there were only 3 total on the property) onto their sister properties and helped provide better service. One night we have to go without food. A star resort with no food availability at 8 PM is unthinkable.

The Sands staff was very attentive!! They where always checking on me and and making sure I had whatever I needed at all times!!

Absolutely great as every year. I call this my paradaise. I’m from Miami, I love how the Staff is so friendly, accommodating your needs, and this includes everyone from Front Desk to Restaurant, housekeepers. The place is always spotless clean. The rooms are so cozy, well lighted or if you want to sleep in, dark. Very safe. The food at the Hemingway’s exquisite. The beach, best clear waters of the Caribbean. This is my sixth time in Provo. 3 in The Sands. And already planning my next year trip but for a longer stay. Thank you all for the attention I had this July of 2020. As I do every year.

The beauty of the property and the location of the property are top-notch. Staff do a great job of taking care of the grounds and the common areas. The restaurant is situated beautifully next to the pool and the beach and is excellent.

What a beautiful property! The beach is just as amazing as the pictures. Our room was clean and updated so not sure about the bad reviews concerning that aspect. One thing we never imagined was how expensive the grocery store would be. We thought we would grab a few things to try and save a little money from eating out all of our meals and with drinks. A 6 pack of beer is easily $18. A bottle of champagne (the cheapest) was $23. A 6 pack of granola bars was $9. A gallon of milk was $6. A bottle of juice was $8. I’m not sure how the locals afford to eat there. We rented a car while we were there and didn’t use it very often. There does seem to be taxis around more than we thought but it’s such a small area that you can walk to most places. I would go back but just wished I knew what to expect a little more about how expensive food was. I definitely recommend this resort!

fantastic location, small venue suited for families

Arrived around 1:00 and wasn't expecting the room to be ready as check was at 3:00, not only was the room ready, we got an upgrade from a partial to full ocean view. The check in clerk said 3306 is her favorite room and upon checking out was told that is his favorite room! The grounds are beautiful.

Truly an incredible week stay at The Sands. We were lucky to get a room upgrade, and loved the nice touches like a welcome rum punch, and "Manager Happy Hour" the night we arrived where we got free drinks and food. The property is spotless and you can see the water from the rooms by the beach. Delicious food within walking distance, not only Hmeingway's but also nearby Grace's Cottage. Gym was great. A++ would highly recommend, we'll be back!

check in was fast and easy, resort very clean, quiet with a beautiful beach. Stayed in a 1 BR condo ( building 2 , 3rd floor) with partial ocean view. Condo was spacious, comfortable king size bed, full kitchen and a large screened in porch. Housekeeping staff exceptional and cleaned daily. It was the only resort that had palappas on the beach, in addition to beach umbrellas. Heated Pool cleaned daily. Although there are some amenities available on the beach, I didn't see a lot to do for younger children. Short walk into town where most of the restaurants were located . Taxi's are easily accessible from resort, but daily usage can get expensive. I would absolutely recommend this resort.
