Due to weather, all flights out of our city were cancelled for Thursday, Feb. 3rd. I immediately tried to contact Expedia about changing our reservation for a refund or credit for the first night. I could not find a contact number and was forced to deal with a virtual assistant. After much back and forth with a robot, I finally got to "chat" with a human, German. When I was finally able to make him understand what I wanted, his solution was to cancel our reservation and make a new one - but there may not be availability then. When I asked to be allowed to contact the property direct, he told me he would contact them. The ending result was the property office was not available and he would contact them the next morning and get back with me. I never heard from anyone, and have not received any type of credit or refund.
Other issues with the property included the fact there was no change maker in the laundry facilities, so I could not purchase detergent; the hair dryer did not work; the code for the parking gate did not work upon entry or exit and a telephone call had to be made each time it was accessed; and lastly the thermostat did not work properly in our room. The temperature was 78 degrees upon our arrival. The thermostat was set on 49 degrees. The only solution offered was to open our windows and use the box fan. We did that. FOUR TIMES!!! When we left on Sunday, it was still 78 degrees.
Needless to say, I am not interested in using your services again!!
