Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Madison East

Average hotel. Lil outdated but staff very nice.

The hotel was amazing. The front desk clerk was able to check us in 3 hours early. The hot tub was great; especially, when it was -10 degrees outside.

It was a harrowing trip, due to snow and icey roads, so pleased to arrive to a speedy check-in of clean, comfortable room😊

We started with entering the lobby to have a group of adolescents being disruptive. One of them was cussing loudly, hopping and pacing around the front desk and hotel staff doing nothing but ignoring it. I checked in and took the luggage cart to the car and within seconds my family and I watched security physically shove a teenage boy through( taking it off track) the doors twice and tossing him across the driveway. While we were entering with the cart (pulling doors open since they were messed up), multiple police cars show up, we have teenagers screaming, police arresting them and we are directed threw this by front desk staff. At no time where we issued an apology or explanation. We get to our room unload in one of my family members takes the cart back to the lobby and speaks with somebody at the front desk. We are assured that this isn’t normal and the entire party had been removed from the hotel. We were all very shaken by the experiences during did not sleep well. We instead had anxiety because of it and wondering if we were indeed going to be safe. The next morning when we are leaving we see part of the party getting their breakfast. They were not removed from the hotel. At check out I mentioned this to the front desk person as well as what our experience was the night before and didn’t even acknowledgment that anything out of the ordinary had taken place place. Horrible experience! Carpet wasn’t vacuumed in the room and found blood spot on curtains when opening them.

We weren’t expecting to need a hotel, just two hours from home...but wind and snow had other plans. Despite the last minute reservation, made after 10 pm and just 10 minutes before we arrived, we were warmly greeted, promptly checked in and in our room very quickly. Room was spotless and comfortable, giving us great rest and a chance to de stress after driving through the weather. Didn’t get a chance to use them, but the pool area appeared inviting and clean and workout facilities offered every thing you’d need to meet your fitness needs on the road. If I’m back in the Madison area and need a place to stay, Fairfield Madison East is right at the top of the list.

I ended up on a delayed flight in a snowstorm and decided to book a hotel since I couldn't get my rental car. Got to the airport after midnight, not a cab in site and no Ubers. JJ got someone to cover the front desk and came to the airport to pick me up! Everyone there is really nice. The hotel is very clean. I decided to stay here again on my return trip. I will stay here any time I'm in the Madison area. You can see why they have such good ratings!

Solid hotel near the Cracker Barrel. Very helpful front desk person. We’ll likely stay here again.

It was wonderful! Felt very safe in super clean rooms, staff was so courteous, the price was right and will return again(second time in 6 weeks)
