B&B La Ghirlanda

Great location and lovely room. Owner was also very helpful.

A charming B&B right in the historic Marina quarter full of restaurants and an easy walk to the Castello quarter inside the city walls with its panoramic views of the city, the Cathedral and museums. We were able to park right outside and Silvia the new owner of the B&B gave us a warm welcome, and we could come and go as we pleased with our own keys. A continental breakfast was included in the price Cafe Roma just around the corner in the main marine drive, Via Roma.

Couple running B&B were very friendly, helpful and hospitable. Room was lovely and la signora lent us beach umbrella and beach towels and she even ironed a dress for me! Her husband showed us where to park on day we arrived. Parking was difficult when I had been led to believe on Expedia site that there was free parking close by. In fact parking - either payable or free - usually took a while.

Right off the Main Street and easy walk from cruise ship marina, this B&b has a great location and a lift to the rooms. OWNERS are a lovely couple in their 80’s. HOWEVER ... it’s interior is old/stained/faded. Ushered to a room and told there was a ‘problem’- toilet didn’t flush well -plumber was to come Monday. It was Friday. Owners INSISTED we just needed to use sumppump. We asked for a refund and SURPRISE a Q room was available-decent, clean comfortable but WORN. Bathroom was fine EXCEPT towels, as was bedding, WORN OUT, greyed but clean smelling. The bathroom door scraped and dragged seriously on the wood floor with deep grooves in the floor showing years of drag. Armoire, mini fridge and flatscreen TV all ok, as was Wifi. B&B breakfast!?? complete JOKE!! Owners provide a voucher and you go downstairs around the corner to coffee bar allowed 1 coffee and 1 pastry. Nothing more!! We ordered juice, toast and refill 3.20E. cheap cheap cheap. Rip off! Then on check out the lady was I dig that we asked for a receipt (which every other Expedia booking offered without being asked). The gentleman was kind, sweet and incredibly helpful! We erred in our parking our car overnight so it was towed. He drove us to the impound lot. SO KIND.

Near city center but still quiet at night. The proprietors were a really nice couple that had to deal with us arriving at 1:30 in the morning. The breakfast though was a chit to a coffee shop about 30 feet away. Only one cup of coffee and a sweet roll.

B&b in stabile vecchiotto vicinissimo al porto. Abbiamo avuto difficoltà a trovare parcheggio in quanto comunque tutto a pagamento. Comodissimo per visitare Marina, ricco di ristoranti e locali. Ad un quarto d'ora dal bastione di San Remy e Dalla Cattedrale. Camera spaziosa con balcone interno su cadeo (non utilizzabile). Colazione presso il bar Roma : caffè o cappuccio più una brioche

Molto pulito ed accogliente. Punto negativissimo il continuo rumore che provoca un unita esterna posizionata sul nostro balcone,penso di condizionamento, la quale non ci ha permesso di riposare. Avevo avvisato che cin noi c era porsona disabile. Altra cosa la colazione, da effettuarsi al bar sotto casa, caffe e brioches. Chiesto un succo d arancia e negato.

Etablissement très bien situé dans la zone de la Marina Chambre grande propre et bien équipée Par contre manque de doubles vitrages efficaces et le bruit de la rue peut déranger. Petit déjeuner pas à la hauteur de ce que l'on attend d'un B&B, se résume à une boisson chaude OU un jus de fruit et une viennoiserie au café situé au coin de la rue, faisant la remarque à la propriétaire pour elle c'est normal et le standard du petit déjeuner italien.
