Surprisingly good. Clean, safe, comfortable, quiet, one of the best breakfast buffets ever, a good restaurant for other meals, and the staff were the best. Seriously! For example, when I checked in, the English speaking staff, especially Deddy and Arika, greeted me so warmly and chatted with me for a while, that I felt like an honored guest instead of just another customer. Then later, when I asked to borrow a screwdriver to try to fix a broken handle on my carry-on bag, Deddy and three other people kindly took on the challenge of seeing if they could fix it. Ten minutes later, they brought my repaired bag to my room. I thought I would have to throw it away (and had already bought a backpack to prepare for that), but thanks to them, the handle that wouldn't go down anymore now does, and they showed me what to do if it happens again. Amazing service! They even have a comfortable , safe shuttle van to take you to the nearby airport (small fee: 50k rupiah, a little less than $4).
The breakfast was such a pleasant surprise. So many fun specialties of Indonesia along with a few other things. Big selection. At night, I had dinner there in their restaurant as well. At first I was nervous because I seemed to be the only one there at the time, but I gave it a try, and how pleased I was. More expensive than what you can get in a foodcourt or on the street, of course, but still reasonable. And genuinely delicious. The traditional oxtail soup was perfect. Gurame fish also. Yum.
