Nice place, musty hvavc smell, windows sealed shut
The hotel and room was nice, clean, pleasant, convenient and a good value. The staff was very nice, except, at exactly 11:02 am, housekeeping knocked on the door, my wife answered and said we would be out in about 10 minutes, and the housekeeper was rude with an attitude about us not being out already. The thing that will keep me from going back is the temperature control. The window does not open even a tiny crack. All i needed was to let a little fresh air in to have the right temperature and be comfortable. Instead, the hvac unit must be used. And problem is that i do not think the fan mode exchanges any fresh air from outside, it only circulates inside air. Or maybe it does, but, the hvac unit need to be steam cleaned on the inside because the air coming out of the unit has a musty smell in any mode. I had to run the unit on AC which I hate, especially when the air outside was the the right temperature and the air ciculating inside was stale and musty. So not comfortable in that regard, and not "eco-friendly" in that we are forced to us hvac when just ipening the window a few inches would have done a better job and made us much more comfortable. Of course, it has become nearly impossible to find a hotel that have an operable window, even a few inches. I think this is a terrible development in hotel development. But this hotel does have operable windows, but they are sealed shut
