Timberland Inn

The only complaint I would have about our stay, is when we asked for ice; they advised us that there wasn’t no ice whatsoever on premises. So we went and bought our own -not a huge deal. Other than that I would highly suggest the property. It had a cabin feel to it, perfect for the area. Would stay again!

Positive...Beautiful view and does appear that they have attempted to update the room features. Issues....Unable to control room temperature and the room was very warm making sleep difficult. It was absolutely impossible to make the room dark for sleep as the blinds on the door are inadequate. They allow the very bright deck and street lighting to enter the room. For $175 a night (in the off season) I wouldn’t expect these issues to be a factor.

Nice big clean room with a nice view over the lake. Would be nice if they had some extra blankets and more lighting, and noise from nearby rooms and the outside stairs/balcony carries easily but otherwise this is a good hotel - nice to be able to open the window and the Chinese food from the associated restaurant is pretty tasty!

We had a very relaxing stay. From the outside you wonder but once you go down the side drive and park you are happy with your choice. The rooms were clean and I believe they were newly renovated or updated. The bed was very comfortable and we had a great nights sleep. And oh...did I mention the voew over the lake from our room..beautiful!

I stayed here on 2 separate occasions. The first time, the room we were given with 2 beds was OK. One bed had a hair on the sheets that was not ours, so we weren't sure if the cleaning and therefore covid policies at this place were the greatest. Also, we were able to hear the floor boards creaking from unit above us in the morning which disrupted our sleep. We decided to give this place another chance upon a return trip to Ontario because there wasn't really anything in the area available. This time the queen room was much better, cleaner, quieter. So I think the experience can vary a lot pending on which room you score. Owners were friendly, but the late check-in policy was a tad confusing. We were notified that we would have self check-in, but that didn't end up happening.

The rooms look amazing but they have no sound insulation. Got no sleep with all the noise from the other rooms and the outdoor stairway next to the room.

Overnight stay, very clean

Very clean modern, very freindly, bonus having chinese take away on site, cold beer by bottle for sale , walks to loclal beach, great stay after a 10hr drive, recomended

A little claustrophobic due to the lack of windows and I expected more for the price.

There was coffee roasted at the same location and every room gets some for coffee in the morning. It doesnt have the best view from the rooms, but the beach down the street is clean and has a great view of the lake.
