Sehr schöne Lage an einem kleinen See. Jederzeit wieder.

Eine schöne Anlage in toller Natur, Visitor Center vom Rocky Mountains Nationalpark schnell zu erreichen. Wir kamen zu spät zum Check in, was mit vorherigem Anruf gar kein Problem war, das Zimmer war groß und geräumig, schade nur dass es im Zimmer (Selbstversorgung) keinen Tisch gab. Fön auch nicht, aber insgesamt sehr urig und in der Lobby konnte ich mir kostenlos alle Bordkarten ausdrucken. Ich würde wieder kommen

Sehr schön am See gelegen, die Innenstadt von Estes Park ist nur ein paar Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt. Es gibt einen Kühlschrank und eine Mikrowelle. Bei der Rezeption bekommt man kostenlos Kaffee und Tee. Würde es jederzeit wieder buchen!

This is my second visit at Estes Park and just like the last time I decided to stay in a lodge. The Discovery Lodge is the perfect location for close Access to Rocky M Nat Park. I just found out that there are beautiful hiking trails just around the corner (outside the park). The room itself was very good. It was warm, clean and cozy (cabin style, especially liked the furniture). The bathroom itself was fine, too. I am a tiny person. A bigger person might have had some trouble though. The only challenge was the room above mine. Because of the wooden floor you could hear the people above walking. My neighbors seemed to be walking around in their room for almost 2 hrs each night. But fortunately by 10 pm things got quiet. The wifi was perfect, no problems at all. There are no hairdryers in the room but you can request one from the front desk. Staff was friendly. They also had a microwave in the welcome Building which helped to heat up leftovers I had for dinner. A huge elk family lives in the area. Quite a nice treat to watch them. I would also like to mention that since the lodge does not offer breakfast, there are a couple of breakfast and coffee shop places nearby. Coffee on the Rocks is recommendable! So all in all, I would definitively come back again :)

We loved it and would come back. Only a few things to note. The shower wouldn’t drain very fast and there was hair in it. Also could use more soap, conditioner, shampoo options as all there was was a bottle of dial.

The reception staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was very clean. I picked this spot because all of the rooms open directly to outside, so I didn't have to worry about sharing hallways/door handles with other people. (Seemed a little more covid safe than a standard hotel.)

I have stayed here multiple times, and I do love the coziness and the views. I was glad the hot tub was open (it's outside). The one issue I have is the office is only open 7am-7pm, and there's no service due to covid. The no service doesn't bother me, but the office opened after we left in the morning and closed before we got back. This meant we were out of coffee, cups, towels etc. They say there is a off hours service line, but it's for maintance only and the guy was very rude on the phone.

The shower would randomly turn off and go from boiling hot to ice cold and was awful. Also the lamps by the bed were flashing on and off like strobe lights. I told the desk guy about it and he rudely said “if you don’t like it then you can stay somewhere else”

Very comfortable 2nd floor room with a lovely view. Office staff helpful and friendly. Parking lot could have a little better lighting and improvement.
