Yemaya Island Hideaway Hotel

This had to be the most idyllic place to. be during coven 19. an unintentional respite from the madness in the world. the location was marvellous, the staff were outstanding and the rooms were above anything we have ever experienced before.

The staff was amazing. It was truly paradise on earth. I wish we had just stayed in Little Corn instead of doing both Little and Big Corn.

Amazing property, one of my favorite places I've been. The staff is amazing and the accommodations were great. Definitely would go back and recommend to anyone who is willing to make the treck to little corn.

The property is located in a paradise. The cabin with a plunge pool is a must if you are considering going here. There is cero crime in the island so nothing to worry if you want to explore around the island. The staff is friendly and client oriented. My only complaint is the logistic on how they get you off the island. We were stuck for 6 hours waiting for a confirmed-panga-departure that it turned out not to be true. We could have enjoyed our room a little bit longer if the staff had solid information that transportation was on the way. My recommendation to the staff would be that the admin should be more efficient with communication between the hotel and the Nicaraguan marina, so they can rely on solid information about panga’s departure instead of relying on whatever the panga’s captain says to them. We felt like left on our own once we were at the little corn pier and the panga didn’t leave so we had to take the weekly cargo ship back to big corn. The locals were telling us that this ship wouldn’t arrive until 5:30 pm. If the locals knew there is no way that the admin didn’t know this information as well. Instead, we were left at the pier at 1200 pm, and we had to wait for 6 hours for out transportation back. We understand that this was not under normal weather conditions, but the admin should strive for better logistics, so the client won’t suffer the improvisation of getting their stay cut short due to bad weather so we would not lost our flight back to Managua.

Double-charged for a meal at the restaurant. Did not respond to repeated email requests for a refund for double-charging. Dishonest. Avoid.

An absolute must if you are in Nicaragua! The staff were amazing right from the start of us landing on the island right till the very end! Town is a 30 minute walk full of great bars and people!

Quiet island with beautiful views, high quality serice and delicous food, will come back one day!
