Hallmark Resort - Cannon Beach

We chose a 2 person room that was upgrated to have an ocean view. The view out the patio door leading out to the deck was true to the ad. Totally awesome view of the ocean and Haystack rock right out the big patio window. There was a small dining table and two chairs where we could sip our morning coffee right next to the huge window. I opened the window just about 2 inches so we could hear the ocean waves too. Loved it! There was a fireplace in the room that could be set on a timer for 20 minutes as we were falling asleep. We stayed 3 nights. We chose this room, not only for its' very comfortable matress, but for its' over the top cleanliness policy. There were lots of restaurants with outside delivery only, Mo's famous Seafood restaurant being among them. We were ready to hunker down in the room in late January and watch the winter storms from our view, but amaziingly it was a sunny day, no winds, and tempuratures in the mid 40's. Lots of people of all ages strolling the beach.Dogs with complete happiness leaping through the shallow surf. Small babies being carried, bundled up, as the young parents enjoy strolling the beach. Lots of room to easily stay 6 feet apart. My husband and I enjoyed looking for small pieces of driftwood to take home and preserve. We have been complete germophobes during the Covid Pandemic, and this resort had super cleanliness rules which I would give ☆☆☆☆☆ +++++..... We were lucky to get awesome sunny weather.

What a view!!! We got a ocean view room with a balcony, was not disappointed! Going to sleep and waking up to the ocean and Haystack rock was pretty amazing! The hotel staff was accommodating and friendly. Room was prefect size and set up nicely! Bed was comfy and the fireplace was perfect as it was a bit chilly outside. Loved staying here!

Hallmark Resort & Spa was a dream vacation and amazing view of Haystack Rock. I will definitely come to visit again!

The Hallmark is a wonderful hotel, beautiful setting. We had a partial ocean view, which was fabulous. The room was very clean, and we felt very safe during this Covid time!

The photos of the rooms is not a representation of the actual room. It was a musty throw back to the 70s and we had to leave the windows open with the fans going as well as go buy candles to get past the smell. We could not find any other availability or we would have left.

We had a beautiful room at the Hallmark with views of Haystack Rock just in front of us. Our room was clean and well appointed. It was also walking distance to many restaurants. The only thing nicer than the room was the great staff who made our stay during covid feel safe and comfortable. We hope to return soon.

The electricity was turned off late at night, and the electricity was not available until 11 am the next day, so I couldn't shower and drink coffee. However, the staff were not friendly and there was no compensation.
