Wow! From the moment we arrived at Casa de Montana, the owners, Manzar and Terry made us feel like we were friends not simply guests.
Casa de Montana is a lovely 6 room B&B with all the comforts of home. Well appointed rooms that offer top of the line mattresses, comfy pillows, soft sheets and fluffy towels. The biggest problem is not wanting to leave the hotel to explore the beautiful surrounding area that is Boquete.
It is well situated in the mountains of Panama 1 hour from the Pacific and 3 hours from the Caribbean. It's elevation offers the perfect climate with highs of 80 (27 C) to night time lows around 60 (15 C), low humidity, and lush flora. Easy to understand the expat community's popularity. Friendly people, great restaurants, perfect climate and an abundance of fresh fruits and vegetables.
That is the other part to this wonderful B&B, a breakfast to remember. Sitting on the terrace watching the hummingbirds flitting about, we thoroughly enjoyed the fabulous locally grown coffee and the delicious breakfast that was served. A large plate of fresh fruit and juice and a breakfast menu that changed daily, such as the French crepes, fluffy eggs with locally sourced vegetables, freshly made Panamanian bread and more. It's good there are so many outdoor activities to do to work off the breakfasts.
Manzar and Terry and their fabulous staff not only keep a spotless place but treat you like family. Casa de Montana is a home you can't wait to return to.
Thanks
