The room appeared to be clean and pleasant but the next morning my husband was itching badly around his back and we noticed that he had attained red welp like bumps in a line that has to be bed bugs! Nasty for a nice place

Don’t choose for the food
The food is very poor. The presentation looks nice but the taste leaves a lot to be desired. Spa is nice but not amazing. The attendants at the hydrotherapy were rude

We have stayed at Secret hotels before. It is no longer a quiet romantic vacation since ownership changed! They sell out to corporate parties. There were 4 different huge employee parties going on the 5 days we were there one night had 3 different ones with all different loud music rowdy screaming and roped off a lot of the hotel grounds. Save your extra 2K because this was like a Carnival cruise line. The grounds are fabulous and staff around the resort great the front desk gave us the worst location even though we paid for an upgraded swim up room. They tried to charge us an additional 400 a night they keep all the ocean front buildings for this up sell technique they leaving you sitting at the desk waiting forever for a manager who never showed up so we walked away. We were even willing to down grade to a normal room to not be the swim up room in the first building with very loud neighbors but they wanted 200 more a night for that. It was crazy. So save your money secrets are no longer what they advertised. We spoke with other couples who felt the same way. Such a waste of money. Also traffic is heavy so leave early for the airport.

Great resort overall. I went there with my wife. The service was excellent, the staff were friendly and the entertainment team went above and beyond with the activities and night shows . The beach was also nice and occasionally you can see the turtles there. The only downside is the trip to and from the airport, it can take up to 2-3 hours with busy traffic.

Excellent service impressive how organize the communication between staff members to make sure every request from guest is best taken care of. For every request there was a person there always ready to help. I met so many kind employees, extremely kind, I couldn’t keep up with their names. They want to treat you as if this was your home, and best to enjoy your vacation.
