AC Hotel by Marriott Cincinnati at The Banks

I am currently staying in this hotel. I booked it this past week as a short getaway for my husband and I for our anniversary. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly however I booked this hotel off of hotels.com and had checked into amenities prior to booking. I visited AC Marriotts website as well because I do not like to go through another booking site without reviewing the hotels actual website. So I chose this hotel due to the upper deck space the hotel has. However upon check in I was told that this area wasn’t open due to in-climate weather. We spend a majority of our time outdoors and looked forward to sitting on the rooftop with skyline views for our anniversary this was the only reason I chose this. There was no rain the two nights we have stayed and 55 degrees. Not once was this area opened and that was disappointing. Even on the website this part of the hotel is mentioned to be open. Never is it mentioned that it will be closed for weather. I would expect if it was storming or below freezing but at the temperatures we had there was no reason. The property also advertised a courtyard with a gas fire pit and some gas heat lamps and this area was also not able to be enjoyed the chairs had all the cushions removed and the gas lamps were in a corner stored. I spoke to the front desk and they gave me two complimentary drinks (which were not used). The hotel was overpriced for what they had to offer. Location Is good for a ballgame but nothing was going on.

Loved the design and modern furnishings! So clean and new. The proximity to great night life and restaurants and the city architecture with lots to just walk and see was exactly what we were looking for. We will be back!

The room was not as warm and inviting as we expected. We didn't see anywhere where we would be charged $32 dollars for valet parking either. Location is great though. We will choose another hotel when staying in Cincinnati again.

Very nice, clean and modern rooms. Only complaint was that at the rooftop bar there was a group of people walking around and taking pictures without there masks. As someone who is high risk it made me uncomfortable despite being outdoors. Overall excellent stay, amazing location and view and friendly staff.

Prompt staff. Clean. Great view and location. The only overnight parking in immediate area is valet at $32/night.

Location loved being down by the river rooftop was excellent

Parking was a big issue!! We didn’t see the valet parking until we parked in the massive underground parking garage and had to try and figure out where we were and how to get to the hotel. We loved the rooftop lounge and all of the employees at the hotel were very nice and helpful.

The service was wonderful. It was just disappointing when I booked a balcony room and there wasnt one already clean and available.. Thats really the only complaint. Its a beautiful hotel in a beautiful area.
