The old building is horrible (the outside and inside). We all had issues getting toilet paper. Our toilet has issues flushing. The bed were old. The carpets had stains. The pool was clean but had wasps everywhere. The lady at the front desk worked her butt off to try to make us happy but she is only one women.

Property very old and not updated. Carpets grody. Toilets brown water. Bathroom shower took forever for hot water. Tv didn't have correct remote so couldn't get it to work. Was told I had to park right next to garbage dumpster chock full of smelly bags of garbage

When we checked in we were told there was no hot water and that they were fixing it. The room smelled horrible, musty and moldy. The carpet was disgusting. Just overall, rundown and not maintained.

Lake side with a amazing relaxing view with dock space down below. Property is older but is at least decently maintained. Very close to Indiana Beach. Staff is extremely friendly.

The owners were nice and very friendly, but when we had issues about one of our rooms they didn't really care. Don't know if it was flea's or what but our son and his girlfriend both had little bites over their legs and chest. We packed up and left that night and owner was just oh well and didn't even offer a discount for the trouble. Will never stay there again.

Andrew's Lakeside Resort was a perfect place to relax for the weekend. The room was clean, the staff was friendly and the view was amazing. The short walk to Indiana Beach is also a plus. We will definitely be staying there next summer.

Overpriced for what you get.
I have stayed at Much better holtes near venues for less money. We checked into room 3 at the resort. The siars are very steep and the board bend slightly as you walk up. The ceiling was only 6 ft. The appliances bearly work. I feel this place is just really overpriced.

Went there with my best friend from July 10th - 12th. First thing we noticed was how friendly the staff was! Should of got the girl’s name who checked us in, but she was very friendly. We got there before check in time and we were able to check in right away! The room was clean and the back deck over looking the lake was nice! We read a lot of bad reviews before going but took our chances and I’m glad we did. It was reasonably priced as well! If you’re looking for a 5 star resort, this may not be your cup of tea. BUT let’s be honest here.... most people only use their rooms to sleep in after visiting Indiana Beach or going out on the lake. It’s a nice place with a very friendly staff! We will return and tell our family and friends about our great experience here! Thank you to the girl who checked us in!!!! You were very welcoming and we appreciate you!

Dont Do It!
This place was awful! I took my family for a mini vacation for my son and sisters birthday. I rented 3 rooms and all three were horrible and dirty and one my girls would not even go in. It was disgusting. Toliel falling in floor, odor, mold, yellow sheets, grossness everywhere. the decks and docks falling in, the pool black! Didn’t even drain! Then the cost was 411 and for some reason my card was billed for 493. They swear was not them but my bank says yes and showed me invoice! Theft somewhere??? Then we stayed for maybe a hour sitting on edge of our beds freaking out waiting for my son to arrive and then decided to leave when he got there. They said because we didn’t leave immediately they would only refund half of our money! We didn’t even wrinkle a sheet! So then I had to go buy new rooms. So the 82 they stole plus the 206 they kept plus the 560 I had to spend on new rooms. I am now out over 800! Luckily Indiana Beach cares enough to help me with admissions to get my kids in. They are not affiliated with the hotel thank God! Also I am still sitting here waiting on my refund that has never hit so technically I am out over 1000 for one hour of misery! I will be calling board of health and the BBB today! Indiana Beach is already aware!

A Resort? Really?
Being fair, the property thought big draw Indiana Beach would not open, therefore they would remain closed. A good excuse, but still, at $129 a night and three months to prepare for guests, you would expect hot water (there was none), working appliances (microwave and refridge broken), a toilet that properly flushed, grounds that showed a little tender loving care (a tree growing out of the deck swing) . . . and the list goes on. The reservation made was for a lakeview, but we got a pool view . . . and the website had posted the pool was open . . . but we arrived to a half-filled pool with murky brown water. The owner said no pool due to the virus, but the posting that the pool was open occurred just a few days prior to our arrival. The owner is nice. The property is not nice. Maybe when the resort was new, but aside from newer bedspreads, the place is run down. Luckily, the owner got cable service back for the hotel earlier in the day, but check-in was disrupted because he was headed to Walmart to get an air conditioner for another unit. The nice, older worker lady was nice . . . but at a loss. The owner said he wasn't going to own the "resort" (used loosely) next season . . . so who knows. If you stay, good luck to you. It does have a nice common area lakeview porch and is close to Indiana Beach. But don't expect reliable internet or hot water (although I guess he lit the gas pilot light after we left). Decided not to post pictures (as a courtesy to ownership).
