Fairmont Austin

Das Hotel ist neu und das Personal sehr bemüht. Ich würde das Hotel jederzeit wieder buchen.

This was our first stay at the Fairmont and we waited a long time for this day! I surprised my husband and 2 teenage kids for Valentines Day. Unfortunately, it was not what we expected at all. The front desk NEVER answered their phone or when they did they would put you on hold for a minimum of 25 minutes. I wanted to get my car from valet because we had a reservation a nearby restaurant but I wasn't able to get a hold of anyone to retrieve my car from valet and I had to go downstairs to ask a valet myself and then we were 20 late for our reservation. The restaurant onsite told us that we had to book a reservation through "Open Table" even though online it says that it did not require a reservation so they said with a huge eye roll and gasp that they guess they could make an exception and seat us anyways. They had a limited menu for breakfast (I guess because of Valentines day- even though it was the next day) and the service was horrible! We waited 20 minutes to be initially greeted by our server and then we felt like we were bothering the staff for being there. For the money we paid for this hotel we could have stayed somewhere else. I know we have stayed other places with better accommodations around the same price point. The valet didn't even open up the car door for me when I initially pulled up--great first impression! It was like no one was trained. The check-in process was awful was so many people in the lobby and only two people available to check in guests.

Nice hotel, but 7$ for a bottle of water that's already in the room? Bankrobbery.

When you book a hotel likes this one you have high expectations given the rating and the price and then you realize it was as bad as booking a motel under $60. The room had someone's hair all over the floor, the complimentary lotion, shampoo, and conditioner were used, there was trash in the bathroom (not ours), the bathrobes had makeup from God knows who. The room was so disgusting, we left a night early.

As always the Fairmont is exceptional in every way.

Awesome hotel

My stay was so relaxing and completely safe even during this crazy time with COVID!

The hotel was nice and the staff was wonderful. From the gentleman who checked us, in to the bartender and concierge- the staff was incredibly nice. My ONLY complaint is how incredibly expensive parking is. Valet was $45 a night and self parking was $38. We stayed 3 nights and our parking once all added up was more than sleeping in the room for a night. Parking was Just WAY too expensive IMHO.

Not one complaint. Great service and nice property.

Everything was great. Really nice option compared to its peers.
