Literal Bliss
We stayed at Langford for the night before our wedding last weekend and it was such a treat. The building and gardens are absolutely gorgeous with floral scents from the many mature flowerbeds floating in to the beautifully decorated rooms indoors. The building is clearly very old but lovingly cared for and has been maintained to a superb level of decoration and comfort. The rooms in which we stayed (we hired 4 of the 6) were without exception beautiful, comfortable and wonderfully quiet. The service is excellent; polite and attentive without being intrusive and the helpful and friendly staff cannot do enough for you. The food is as good as any we have had in London (our home town), and the cocktails and drinks are all a delightful addition to a great menu - it is somewhere we already miss and will definitely return to for anniversaries. What a superb place.
