Jewel Grande Montego Bay Resort & Spa – All Inclusive

We were nervous to travel, but got to the resort and immediately felt safe. Our temperature was checked on arrival, the staff wore masks at all times, and our hands were sanitized before all meals. We were given a free COVID test about 2-3 days before we left. The hotel was only about 25% full so we had plenty of space. The resort was beautiful! Right on the beach, free water activities, nice bathrooms, plenty of umbrellas, and great amenities. The 2 pools were beautiful, but only 1 poolside bar/restaurant was open (bc of COVID). There was a buffet-type restaurant for breakfast, a poolside grill for lunch, and 2 restaurants open each night for dinner (they rotate, bc of COVID). The staff was friendly and helpful. Tishell was super sweet and a joy to be around! We loved her. Room service staff was fast. Lifeguards were fun and helpful with kayaks/Hobie/etc. We liked chatting with "Paparazzi", I wish I knew his real name. Tameka was a huge help in setting up a "romance package" for our honeymoon. Everything was amazing... chocolate covered strawberries & champagne in our room, a private Pierside dinner, etc. Dwight did a fun job getting us involved in fun activities during the day. Nightly entertainment the first couple nights was meh, but then the Jamaica show was awesome! The spa was really nice. We had a couples massage. We had it almost to ourselves and hung out in the pool & hot tub after our massage. The Himalayan salt spa room was cool, worth the upgrade.

Food was mediocre at best. Beach doesn’t really allow for any swimming. Shallow. Murky. Pools are freezing. Wouldn’t want to stay here for a prolonged time.

The staff at the resort are excellent and are happy to serve you at all hours for any request! The rooms are beautiful and have the best view for a hotel I have seen in a long time. Would highly recommend staying here!

Beautiful property our room Was spacious and had a outstanding view of the ocean. Hotel staff was very nice and helpful. Food was okay could have been better. I enjoyed my stay. The bed was comfortable. I will be returning soon.

My husband and I spent our honeymoon at Jewel Grande. It was a phenomenal trip! We had a private dinner on the pier with Tishell. Tishell was amazing! We saw her all throughout the week and she made a point to speak with us. You can tell she loves her job so much. She truly embodied what it is to be hospitable. A true gem. We also had a great time visiting with the activities instructor at the pool. Peter and Jermaine were also so warm and kind to us. The people and the culture of Jamaica is what made our trip outstanding. The food was also amazing. Throughout the week, they had authentic Jamaican food served right on the beach. It was an 11/10 week. Highly recommend.

Grounds were well maintained. Food was good. Just a beautiful property on the beach with mountain and sea view. Premium alcohol included. Luxury living at it's best. I would stay here again.
