Bellevue House

It is close to everything, almost walking distance. We had issues with the air condition, it was not working properly. The "rain shower" is not safe for older person, there is no hand bar to hold on.

Great location! The room was a nice size and the people were very friendly. Small negative- the bed was very hard!! Would definitely stay again.

Disappointing, okay, not up to its fabulous review

It was okay. It was nice, sort of, but not amazing. Perhaps compared to other places in Newport it is. I cannot really say. I have been to other places that are better. Fabulous it is not. Among different things, the rugs in the room could be changed; things could be freshened; the pictures are often it seems to me inexpensive copies. There could be more amenities, shower caps, coffee. One day they neglected to clean the room at all. Some people of the staff were nice One behind the front desk wasnt good, or helpful. It is not fabulous or anything. They could have better service....It is up a big hill to get to Thames Street...It was okay, nice, as said, but not amazing by any stretch.

Clean with great value location and mojo! Great on site parking. Nice little restaurant with snacks etc. Have been there before and will stay there again! Right across the street from the Viking.

Charming European feel, attentive staff, great food from cafe next door - but all toiletries were in wrong bottles (body lotion in shampoo bottle etc) perhaps due to non-English speaking staff, which was confusing and annoying.

The pictures don’t do this place justice. We bought the cheapest room and it was beautiful. We loved the decorations and European Inn style of the room. There’s a fridge and AC unit. The bathroom was clean and the mattress looked brand new. Check in and check out were simple and easy. An employee walked us to our room and offered all the info we needed for our stay. This is the perfect location because it’s only a 10 minute walk at most to the harbor; where there are all kinds of shops and restaurants on the water. We checked out at 11am and they let us use the parking lot all day until we left. We would definitely stay here again!

A very cute and cozy place to stay. Nothing was more than a 20-minute walk from the hotel. We had a little patio out front which was nice. The room was clean and had an antique vibe to it that fit with everything else in the town. Around the corner is Picnic Cafe, right next to the check-in spot for Bellevue House, which is a really cute and delish spot for a coffee, breakfast, or lunch.

We were upgraded to their The Bellevue Manor. The room was spacious, clean, I loved their decor, and especially enjoyed quiet mornings on their porch drinking iced coffee. They have pet friendly rooms, which is very much appreciated, as it can be hard to get away otherwise.
