Lovely, large bedroom and bathroom with walk in shower and free standing bath. Sandra and Steve offer a very well located B and B in Fairlight close to Hastings but without the crowds. Also, delicious breakfast included.

We loved our stay at Stream House. Susan and Steve were knowledgeable about the area, were very helpful, kind and attentive. The breakfast was incredible and made to order. The poppy room was spacious, had lots of nice amenities and the bed was super comfy. We loved the garden space, it was beautifully kept, had lots of nice sun loungers to relax in and enjoy the sun. Definitely recommend if you're looking to stay near Hastings.

A warm welcome from the hostess with tea and excellent chocolate brownies taken by the small pond with the carp calmly swimming around. Bedroom cool despite the very hot weather outside which might be the benefit of an older building. Large bath for those who like to lay back and read a book. The gardens are extensive and majestic. Freshly cooked breakfast served in a small dining room with a seating area and a big open fire at the other end, which was obviously not in use! Well located for travel in to both Hastings and Rye

Sandra and Steven made us feel very welcome. The property is full of character, and very well maintained. Exceptionally clean and tastefully furnished. The house is surrounded by beautful gardens. Breakfast was well cooked and presented, with a wide choice on the menu.

Fantastic stay

We had the most wonderful stay at Stream House. The bedroom was beautiful, with such a comfortable bed and an amazing roll top bath in the en suite. Warmly welcomed with some brownies on arrival, and delicious breakfast both mornings. Highly recommend, and would certainly stay again.

Stream House is a little jewel of a B & B and Sandra and Steve are great hosts. The house and extensive gardens are absolutely beautiful and amazingly well looked after! We thoroughly recommend Stream House and can't wait to stay there again ourselves.

We had a lovely two night stay. The hosts are friendly and the house is comfortable, well maintained and extremely clean. The breakfast was delicious, with great quality produce. The gardens are extensive, with loungers and nice seating areas. This place is not obvious from the road and we drove past twice due to a satnav error, but it’s well worth finding!

Great B&B

A great B&B - hard to say how it could be better. Very comfortable room, all bathroom amenities including bathrobes and slippers. Breakfast was as good as one could hope for. And we had tea and coffee and cake on our arrival. Hosts were very friendly. 5 stars.

Our excellent ratings above need no further qualification. This is the best B/B we have ever used. The hosts were open and immediately friendly. Breakfasts were consistently special. We are grateful to them for a restful break.

La camera è favolosa, la casa bellissima immersa in un parco enorme, dove abbiamo visto scoiattoli e fagiani che giravano liberamente. La signora è gentilissima e gli arredi estremamente raffinati, costa ma ne vale abbondantemente la pena. E' un po difficile arrivarci, ma il posto è splendido.

Ein Haus mit einem sehr, sehr hohen Standard in jeder Beziehung. Luxuriöses Zimmer vom Feinsten; ein Frühstück, das Sternequalität hat; ein äußerst gepflegtes Anwesen mit vielen optischen Reizen und einem Plätzchen zum Verweilen. Besonders aber die Gastgeber - rührig um den Gast bemüht, freundlich, aufgeschlossen, bestens organisiert. Einfach "Britain as Its Best" - sehr zu empfehlen, wer es gediegen möchte!

A top quality place to stay in lovely surroundings

We had a wonderful stay with Steve and Sandra who were the perfect friendly and welcoming hosts. The food was excellent and the accommodation was top class; use of the day sitting room was a nice touch. I am a firm believer that get what you pay for and I have no hesitation in highly recommending the Stream House.

Excellent Stay at the lovely Stream House

We recently spent two nights at the lovely Stream House Luxury B & B, which certainly lived up to its reputation. Sandra and Steve were very welcoming. The Bluebell Room was delightful with an extremely comfortable bed and brilliant ensuite bathroom. Breakfast was delicious with a good choice. The gardens were beautiful. Would definitely recommend.
