We had a brilliant stay at the Wellness Home in Rome. Simone and his aunt Barbara were exceptional hosts, and made our stay wonderful.
Our room was spotless, with great additions, like a coffee machine, kettle, minibar, safe, usb charging sockets, smart tv, wifi and a great bathroom which had mood lighting and a hammam steamer.
We hadn't left ourselves enough time to make breakfast on our first day, as we had to be out, so we left a note at the check-in desk the night before, but on our way our were were greeted with a packed breakfast so we didn't miss out.
The breakfast room was spacious and clean, with a continental buffet laid out. However, Barbara was keen to offer us eggs and bacon, toast or toasties etc.
On our final day, Simone offered us a lift to the Termini station for free, and we were given another packed lunch to see us thorough our drive south.
The hotel is easy to access, and is fairly central to a lot of the main sights. It is located on the first floor of an apartment building, in which the foyer is being renovated to an equally high standard as the hotel. You are given keys to access the main door of the block, and one for the Hotel front door.
I hope I am doing the Hotel justice - I honestly can't sing their praises high enough! They had mentioned that we were so polite, and that a couple of their guests hadn't been. I genuinely don't know why, but it is clear that politeness is well received. Would 100% recommend.
