5-Star at Howzit!!

Have you ever heard of a five star hostel? Well, now I have stayed in one! The building was awesome, the team was awesome, the Daily activities were beyond awesome! I love to manage one back in the continental US. This team really knows what they’re doing AND how to provide an awesome safe place to stay for travelers.

Excellent stay

Our stay at this hostel was very comfortable. The pancakes and coffee in the morning were appreciated. Very nice, large and informal lobby. Rooms were clean and adequate with A/C. A bit of wait to use restrooms but not that long.

Howzit Hostels - A Wonderful Surprise

This is an excellent facility, with superb service. Check-in was easy and thorough, and Kara (sp?) was friendly, attentive, and professional. As we were in for one night as a sleep-stop before heading to the airport, we were unable to take advantage of the myriad activities offered, but the amenities at the facility were great.

The hand drying paper dispensers are installed on the walls with beds on the other side, everyone pounds at them all night long, maybe have them moved to the knee walls of the hallways not the bedrooms, pankxakes were awesome! And the kitchen is epic! Great job howzit ;)

I had such an amazing stay! Impeccable customer service. The whole house is good vibes. The hostel is clean and very well kept. Free pancakes in the morning. Guest also friendly and respectful. The tours are great, I do hope to visit and stay again. Mahalo!

In the middle of renovation, but very unobtrusive. Staff very helpful and friendly. Can be challenging to find parking, but if no vehicle it’s a non-issue.

This place defines unethical & locals don't approv

We have been investigating hotels and at the end, started investigating hostels and found them to be blatantly violating State and Federal laws, as well as openly practicing discrimination, even so far as putting people who were houseless andor victims of the Lahaina Wildfires out of a room canceling their reservation because they specifically "with a smile don't serve that kind". Now locals are watching those who stay here because it has been alleged by a few sources this hostel hosts people of a sacred cult that has been implicated in more than two different major crimes, not including the discrimination crimes not housing or allowed local residents, even when others accomodations aren't available or even during a federal disaster.

It was my first time in a hostel so I was a little nervous, but Howzit hostel was a great experience for me! The accommodation is really good, I stayed in a room for 4 girls, it was comfortable, and clean, it had air conditioning. The hostel has a good kitchen, many bathrooms that are always being cleaned, it has a great common area with pool, foosball and chairs. They make good pancakes for breakfast, they have clean towels all the time, a good laundromat, and my favorite part was the free tours, they were a great way to get to explore Maui. All the employees and volunteers were so nice and helpful, I even became friends with some of them. So I would definitely come back to Howzit another time!
