Check in was very likeable. Staff is very nice. The hotel is not dirty at all but still appears in need of maintenance. We had a room with an extra bed and on top a baby cod. For 2 adults and 2 kids (6 and 2yrs old) rooms are definitely too small. But it was ok as we had known that when we booked it. What was a little annoying is that we had a Velux window in the roof that could not be dimmed out. When we asked if this was possible we were told that it is and it is explained in "the book" how to do it. Well, it was explained in a "book" that was placed in the room, unfortunately just in Danish and not in English. Anyway, it did not work and the staff, even though being eager, could not operate it either. The reaction was disappointing, we just had to live with it and all we received was a "sorry". This way it was much harder for our kids to fall asleep as it was too light.
Breakfast: It was ok, nothing special though. Every day we entered the breakfast room (we stayed three nights), all tables were reserved. We always had been seated somewhere but still it felt as if we were "not invited". Breakfast hours were from 7:30 to 9am which is a little tight for my understanding.
Pool: The indoor swimming pool is a benefit we enjoyed very much. Still, the water could have been warmer. Unless you frolic around like a wild dog, you are cold.
Hotel: Everything is at ground level hence ways sometimes appear a bit long. It looked a bit like a construction site with many scaffolds.
