Very nice Royukan the sauna and hot bath were excellent and great for relaxing after a long and VERY cold day. Facility was a little beat up but probably because it’s been there for a while but it adds to its beauty. Could see the river from my room, had beautiful views of the mountain as well.

We had an especially delicious meal at the steakhouse on the property, with an incredibly kind and attentive chef. Would definitely recommend eating there if you get the chance!

It was quiet, peaceful, gorgeous, and such a beautiful place to stay. The staff were so accommodating, everything was clearly explained, and the onsens were perfect. We had such an incredible stay here and would come back any time. The only downside is its distance from the train station, but this doesn't bother me. It's worth the walk.
