Disappointed and overcharged
The hotel stay was ok until the power and water went off for several hours. I was comped $25 dollars (1 night’s parking) for 1 of my 2 vehicles. The big guy, who works the night shift, acted as if I was annoying him by requesting compensation that he had previously granted to other patrons earlier in the same day. He granted other patrons a larger discount and became very condescending and arrogantly rude when giving his reasoning for not granting me the same credit for experiencing the same inconvenience. I work from my laptop over the internet and the power outage costs me money. Not having water to bathe and brush my teeth and head out wasn’t a great experience.
I should’ve known it was going to be some weird stuff going on at this hotel. When I first checked in another hotel guest walked into their room to find 2 random men sitting in the room and the big guy didn’t know who, why or how they got in there.
On my way to check out, the elevator stopped working and we had to carry our luggage down 4 stories of stairs.
The breakfast was better than most, and the breakfast staff was friendly and helpful.
