Really enjoyed our stay at Blue Inn. High quality accommodations in all respects. Right on beautiful beach. The staff was always available and helpful. Newberryport town a delight with walkable marina and many unusual shops and restaurants in a tranquil friendly atmosphere. Summer weather in the 70’s as hoped👍

Blue-Inn on the Beach - Thank you

First time stay and it lived up to everything they advertised. The view was to die for and the breakfast was a delightful picnic basket in the morning at our door, with a pot of coffee. We will return when the weather is warmer but the fireplace in the room made it very cozy even in the cold weather.

Probably the best hidden secret in MA. Love the proximity to town and nature. The beach and the views are second to none. The beach front room is a must! A combo between being one with nature and having the luxury of life! ♥️

We’ll be coming back

A lovely winter getaway. Our room was comfortable and set up like a studio apt. Breakfasts delivered to our room were tasty and creative. The ocean was just outside our door, loved our walks on the beach and it was great to be on the edge of the NWR. Newbury/Newburyport is quiet this time of year but we had no trouble finding great places to eat. A lot of snow and parking lot was icy but hey, it’s winter in New England.

We had a great time and the room was beautiful- it was -6 degrees but the fire and some wine kept us cozy. Bed was comfortable. Love that they have a little kitchen and couch- You can not beat the view or access to the ocean outside of your door. We will go back in the nicer weather to get that walk on the beach.

Very nice, would stay again

Very nice inn, room was cozy and well designed and decorated. Balcony was great and there was a hot tub. Unfortunately didn’t stay long enough to try it. Some minor issues with the room.. TV rack was old and you could not point the TV towards the bed, pillows were too thick, room really needed a table or flat surface to put stuff on. Could hear people walking in room above us.

We loved the location, the room appointments, and the staff were wonderful. We came in on a Friday night and our room had two issues the staff wasn’t aware of but handled beautifully. Unfortunately, I don’t remember her name but the young lady came from home to address them in less than 10 minutes. The breakfast baskets are a creative spin on room service, our only suggestion for an even better experience, would be to have two options for the guests choose from the evening before. We will be back and look forward to visiting other Lark Hotel locations.

This has been one of the best, most relaxing vacations I have had. This beautiful inn is right on the beach!!! You walk out onto your patio, and then it's sand and ocean. It is quiet and all you hear are the waves crashing on the shore. You receive a wonderful breakfast every morning with quiche, muffins, fresh orange juice, a smoothie and a carafe of coffee, delivered to your room in a little picnic basket, at a time that you desire. The rooms are immaculate and tastefully appointed, and look out on the beautiful beach. The staff was gracious and wonderful. Even the late check-in process was easy. We were very sad to leave this morning, but we have out this place on our annual list, 9n our trip to Massachusetts. Do not hesitate to stay here. You will get addicted!!

A quick overnight stay with my sister and elderly mother. We stayed in one of the cottages. Price was right for off season. Parking was a little walk, not bad. The pathway to the cottage was difficult for my mother to navigate with a walker: sand, glass pebbles, patio steps. The smell of the cleaning supplies was pleasant but quite overwhelming, we had to air the cottage as it gave us all an immediate headache. Once aired it was fine. Bring your own food/drinks off season, as nothing but a little convenient store was open at 5pm and food items there were expensive!

We stayed in the Lark Suite. The room was spacious and had 180 degree breath taking views of the Atlantic Ocean. I would highly recommend staying in this particular room.

25th Anniversary

Perfection! Everything from the check in to the check out was amazing. The rooms are gorgeous. Delivered breakfast was delicious with plenty of hot coffee. Beach was quiet and everything was provided, chairs, towels and water. We will be going back.

Anniversary get away!!!

What a special place. You can bike or walk to two places to eat and drink a Newburyport is a short drive away. Yeah you’re right on the ocean and the rooms are really nice.
