It was a last minute booking, so really did not know what to expect. The hotel is approx. 20 mins away from New Chitose and a bit in the middle of nowhere.
The hotel looks new and is very clean and well kept. The staff is very helpful and friendly (the manager even speaks perfect English with an English accent!) and the room is very comfortable.
There is no on-site dining, but there is a convenient store about 5-8 minutes walk away. However, late night snack runs are not advised as it will be pitch dark outside. There is a vending machine and free coffee in the lobby dining area though.
During the day (mind you, this is summer time), there is a farmer's market and food trucks at the highway rest stop behind the hotel. This is one of the larger national highway rest stops, so there are shops and restaurants inside as well not to mention the building itself is quite interesting architecturally speaking. Well worth a visit if its along the way or if you're in the area.
In summary, it was a surprisingly pleasant and fun stay. Highly recommended if you are visiting the area!
