*ATTENTION BED BUGS*
My family and I loved the property. We stayed 8/31/24-9/02/2024, so we stayed two nights the first night my 9 yr old son woke up with seven welped up cluster bites the second morning he woke up with twelve. We finally figured out he had bed bug bites. I can't post images on this platform or I would ,so another family doesn't have this issue. We don't have a update yet on how this will be fixed.
Good room. Will not rent again from the company I went thru for this unit. They were not communicative about check in or when the gate code changed during my stay.
Upon arrival in the room the living room curtains & rod were dislodged from the wall & on the floor. There were a couple bugs we killed, there was a partially eaten cookie behind the nightstand, the living room sliding door didnât open plus there was this severe rumbling sound that seem to happen every few mins or so. Iâve stayed there twice in the past & was highly satisfied. This time was just terrible. 2 out of 5
We really enjoyed our stay, we love Myrtle Beach Resort. The condo was great, clean and well stocked.
We did have an issue with the code for the front gate though. For some reason it was changed twice during our stay and we weren't informed, they were getting very annoyed with us at the front gate because we didn't have the updated code.
Itâs a lot of animals bowel movement all over the ground..it donât comes with extra towels.. it do have a laundry room that you can use to wash the towels.. I never received my welcome email..
Not good, no air conditioning upon arrival.
Issue was not resolved, had to be moved to another resort. Room was good, but had no access to hotel amenities.
Our stay was decent, nothing to brag about. We entered the room & it smelled of cigarettes. I'm not a smoker so it irritated me. We'd smell it often so I assumed it was coming from the vents from our neighbors. After a few days there the water heater tray overflowed into our room. A maintenance man came at 10:30pm to fix it....stated it should be fixed & left. He stated that since he used the provided linens to soak up the water mess he'd have them send us fresh linens, that never happened. The next morning it was about to overflow again. I called 3 times & got 3 different responses as them sending someone to take care of it. After nearly 3 hours (the 3rd call) I told them we had plans & needed to leave the room but we were still waiting on someone to come bc the door had a code to be able to enter the room. They then informed me that the plumber has his own code & we could leave the room....that would have been nice to know on the 1st phone call. We came back around 3:00 & the plumber was working on the water heater. We left for food & came back later at night to the air unit not working, it was hot! They sent someone at 11:00pm, he said it was a clogged hose & fixed it....he wasnt there 5 minutes, the air kicked on & we were ecstatic. After that, the air never didn't again, all night long. We (my 3 kids & myself) were incredibly hot all night, it was terribly stuffy. I called & let them know. They thanked me for letting them know & that was it. Frustrating..understatement.
This whole booking/stay was miserable. The app randomly changed the dates of my trip so I spent an hour getting that corrected. Check-in required me to drive 20 minutes each way to get my information packet. Once in the unit, I discovered that there was no handle on the shower. I had to go purchase a pair of pliers in order to shower. Also, the room rate was $45 but there was a âproperty feeâ of $71. The $45 room ended up costing $130. I use hotels.com almost exclusively for lodging and I have never been so disappointed and unhappy!
Stay was so bad I should get my money back. First off I booked a place at the towers. I was never informed that the towers had be condemned and that I was being moved to another building. My stay was for 2 nights and after 1 night we came back to our room to find that the door code had been changed and we were locked out with all our stuff being inside the room. After staying on the phone for a bit we were given another code to get in and was told because I was a late arrival? The only thing I can say good about the place was that the security at the gates were nice people.
Trash was left on deck . It was supposed to have been emptied by previous. Called and nothing. We did not find another bag so had to use grocery store small ones.
My family and I notified the hotel via their contact number located in the app and notified them that I would be arriving after 10pm and I would need late check in instructions. They said okay and sent me an address and a code for the lock box to get my key and information about the room. When I arrived at the location, the lock box did not contain my key. I called and spoke to someone with the company or with Hotels.com and was directed to a different address another 20 minutes away. When I arrived there I successfully unlocked the lockbox and found an envelope with my name on it. I opened it and found NOTHING inside. No key, instructions, or anything else except the location of the hotel and room number. Then at around midnight I tried to contact someone again and I couldnât reach anyone. My family and I had to wait ALL NIGHT and finally went back to the first location and had to check in with the property management company at 9am! So I had to wait around for about 8 hours in the middle of the night with children after a 4 hour drive just to check in to my room and spend a brief amount of time at the beach until my kids and I were so tired from the night before, we all fell asleep early and completely ruined our Saturday. So we really only had one full day to relax until check out on Monday. We stayed around until that evening to make up for lost time but it really ruined the trip for everyone. The actual room was okay and spacious but the microwave was broken.
