My experience with the 2nd Homes was extremely disappointing and frustrating. I had booked and paid for an apartment well over a month in advance, only to find out upon arrival that the apartment had been overbooked. We were left without a place to stay in the middle of the night in a city we were not familiar with.
The worst part of this ordeal was their complete lack of communication. Despite numerous attempts to contact them via phone and email, they consistently avoided communication. They did not answer my calls or respond to my messages, leaving me in a lurch and scrambling to find alternative accommodation at the last minute.
Their unprofessionalism and disregard for their customers are unacceptable. I had trusted them to provide a reliable service, and they ultimately failed to deliver. Overbooking an already-paid apartment and then avoiding communication is not only unprofessional but also incredibly disrespectful.
Their lack of reliability and poor customer service made what should have been a pleasant stay a stressful and unpleasant experience. Avoid their services to save yourself the hassle.
They should be banned from Expedia!
