Overall, we were pleased with the quality of the accommodations—the room was excellent, well-equipped with all necessary amenities, and the front desk staff were courteous and welcoming.
However, our positive experience was unfortunately overshadowed by an upsetting incident during breakfast service. On the morning in question, our child was unwell and unable to leave the room to eat in the restaurant. I politely requested a staff member if I could take some food back to the room for my child. She responded that I could not use their plates but could use tissues to carry the food.
While we were collecting a small amount of food using tissues, another employee abruptly approached us, raised her voice, and accused us of stealing food—despite the fact that we had a valid breakfast voucher for our child. This confrontation took place in front of other guests and was deeply humiliating for both me and my wife. We immediately reported the incident to the hotel manager, who was understanding and allow us to take food to our room.
Although we appreciated the manager’s support, the damage had already been done. This was the first time we have ever experienced such treatment in a hotel, and it left us feeling disrespected and stripped of our dignity.
I hope you will take this feedback seriously and address the behavior of the staff involved to ensure that no other guests have to endure a similar experience.
