The hotel experience was really good little town everything close by very spacious to bedrooms with kitchenette everything I needed for the price very close to Grand Bend happy to stay at the ranch hotel.

This is a quaint place to stay. The self-check-in was odd, but once the process was clear (after a same-day booking), it went smoothly. The room (one Queen bed) and bathroom were very clean but bare-bones. (For the price, it was appropriately appointed.)

What a great location ...right in the heart of this beautiful little town...clean spacious upgraded rooms a great stay.....definitely recommend....and a lunch or dinner at Eddingtons restaurant is a shining experience with phenomenal staff and some of the best food I've ever tasted

Pretty good for the price. In terms of amenities: the light, nor plug, at our nightstand worked - Electrical issue since we checked with a new bulb. Not the safest neighborhood either (Exeter), but good for the price to travel out.

My son and I enjoyed our stay. The room was spacious and had comfortable beds. We were upgraded to a deluxe room with a large fridge and a small kitchen that included a small stove (oven and cook top) but we had only found out about the upgrade after we had tried to enter our room and the pin code would not unlock our door. We had to get in touch with the owner who was quick to answer and get us into a room. A bit of a stressful start being so far away from home with my 4 year old but crisis was averted when we were put into a new room. The cleaning staff were super friendly and kind. There is a little kids corner with a book shelf that had puzzles, games, colouring books and markers. My son enjoyed borrowing the ball maze game and colouring book. We would definitely stay again next time we come to the area! There was ample free parking and easy to find and enter through the back of the building.

Property was sketchy. Room smelled awful, overpowering air freshener to cover another smell. Curtains were disheveled and not hung properly. Bed was uncomfortable and rickety. No sound proofing. Could hear neighbours beside and above us.

This hotel is very unique. The windows open up to an inside corridor, so no outside windows, which was weird at first. The room was clean and decorated nicely. Had a small kitchenette and the bed was comfortable. The air conditioning worked well but was noisy. It is a self check-in, but the cleaning staff was very friendly. Communication through text messaging, with all the information needed for check in, was accurate and easy to follow. The price was very good, cute small town, and close to Grand Bend and Bayfield for day trips.

Cleanliness could be better - floors were dirty and there were bits of other guests hairs in the shower. Bathroom mirror was wonderful, there’s really nowhere to put your stuff down in the bathroom so keep that in mind with hair tools etc. Staff was friendly, coffee station was a bonus! All in all, it was okay!

Had wrong date and was at Ranchhouse Inn the week before at 310pm asked them to cancel it cause of the wrong booking date then was told had to go through Expedia and when I called them was told it was up to the managers at the Inn. They were told a week before the wrong date of July 19 but I still got billed anyways..not happy. The place could be great but cause of this it won't happen again. Expedia was also no help!!

Good morning. My stay at the Ranchhouse Inn at 414 Maine Street in Exeter Ontario was less than I expected. The front desk staff was not prepared for our arrival. The computers were down, it took three cell phones to find our reservations. I saw some dust around the bed and nightstand. It was hard for me to sleep and get a good nights rest because of a soft humming sound all night. The parking lot was very small and muddy. My stay at the Ranchhouse Inn in Exeter was less than I expected.

I spent 3 nights here at the Ranch house inn and the staff/owners were responsive to requests. The pictures are accurate and I believe it reflects a relatively recent remodelling. Internet was fast and there was a common area with Keurig type coffee/amenities. There is ample parking in the back. Since I used this as a staging ground for my weekend at the Grand Bend Motorplex, I appreciate how convenient exeter is. There was a dollarama down the street and restaurant options close by. If you are noise/light sensitive; I do recommend bringing earplugs / nightmask as there was some noise/light intrusion into the rooms. Otherwise, I would come back for future days.
