What a great location ...right in the heart of this beautiful little town...clean spacious upgraded rooms a great stay.....definitely recommend....and a lunch or dinner at Eddingtons restaurant is a shining experience with phenomenal staff and some of the best food I've ever tasted

Pretty good for the price. In terms of amenities: the light, nor plug, at our nightstand worked - Electrical issue since we checked with a new bulb. Not the safest neighborhood either (Exeter), but good for the price to travel out.

This hotel is very unique. The windows open up to an inside corridor, so no outside windows, which was weird at first. The room was clean and decorated nicely. Had a small kitchenette and the bed was comfortable. The air conditioning worked well but was noisy. It is a self check-in, but the cleaning staff was very friendly. Communication through text messaging, with all the information needed for check in, was accurate and easy to follow. The price was very good, cute small town, and close to Grand Bend and Bayfield for day trips.

Cleanliness could be better - floors were dirty and there were bits of other guests hairs in the shower. Bathroom mirror was wonderful, there’s really nowhere to put your stuff down in the bathroom so keep that in mind with hair tools etc. Staff was friendly, coffee station was a bonus! All in all, it was okay!

Its a pretty decent place for a short-term stay. Conveniently located on the main street of the town, walkable to most restaurants and just a short drive to everything else. Short drive to Stratford as well as the west coast of Ontario. Room was just as pictured. Pretty neat and clean. Room was quiet, however noisy neighbour could be everywhere, which is not the fault of the management at all. Ample amount of kitchenware, cutleries were provided. We requested for extra set of pillows for our kid and those were provided promptly. Housekeeping is decent and management makes all effort to keep the common area neat all the time. A microwave and a coffee/tea maker on the lobby was just enough for our use. I had a satisfactory stay and if you are looking for a budget stay near Grand Bend or in South Huron, look no further.

Good morning. My stay at the Ranchhouse Inn at 414 Maine Street in Exeter Ontario was less than I expected. The front desk staff was not prepared for our arrival. The computers were down, it took three cell phones to find our reservations. I saw some dust around the bed and nightstand. It was hard for me to sleep and get a good nights rest because of a soft humming sound all night. The parking lot was very small and muddy. My stay at the Ranchhouse Inn in Exeter was less than I expected.

Disaster.... was supposed to stay in Exeter at The Ranch House Inn. They had an A/C issue and was informed the day of my stay that they couldn'thave me. I spent over an hour on the phone with Expedia trying to make other arrangements. We moved 25 minutes away to the Whispering Pines Resort ( Motel ). If it wasn't for the young guy Logan atleast trying to help it would have been worse. Construction repairs going on into the night. Pool closed. Restaurant closed. Weird to have a Kuerig and no coffee.

I spent 3 nights here at the Ranch house inn and the staff/owners were responsive to requests. The pictures are accurate and I believe it reflects a relatively recent remodelling. Internet was fast and there was a common area with Keurig type coffee/amenities. There is ample parking in the back. Since I used this as a staging ground for my weekend at the Grand Bend Motorplex, I appreciate how convenient exeter is. There was a dollarama down the street and restaurant options close by. If you are noise/light sensitive; I do recommend bringing earplugs / nightmask as there was some noise/light intrusion into the rooms. Otherwise, I would come back for future days.
