never seen such a clean hotel...the staff was constantly cleaning. Only downside is that there were no dresser drawers, but it's not that kind of hotel, so all is good

The staff told us that building had only been opened for a month. Everything is beautiful. welcoming, and relaxing. The staff were all so nice. The location is perfect if you're doing anything around the Valpo area.

well, small room, like NYC times square. Lousy pillows, soft mattress, queen sized although I'm sure that I paid for a king size. I can't believe that Hilton lent their name to nickel and dime business unit. Oh, the complimentary breakfeast ( sigh ) slim pickins, low cost dreck.

I discovered this hotel while browsing Hotel.com, and I’m really glad I did. The property is brand‑new, having opened in June, and it shows — everything feels modern, fresh, and exceptionally clean. The staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely understanding of the challenges many Lake County residents were facing with the recent storm and widespread power outages. My room was comfortable and thoughtfully designed, and the bed in particular was fantastic — easily one of the most comfortable I’ve slept in recently. I do wish the room had included a microwave, but that was a small inconvenience in an otherwise great stay. The complimentary breakfast was a standout, offering a wide variety of food and drink options that made the morning easy and enjoyable. The only drawback for me was the price; at $187, the rate felt a bit high. Still, the overall experience, cleanliness, and friendliness of the staff made the stay worthwhile.

The breakfast was poor. The coffee empty and when it finally came out it was weak and not very hot. The biggest issue for me was my very specific intention of NOT booking a handicap room and then I was given one. When I called about it, they said they had no other rooms. For 200 bucks a night, I felt the room was so subpar. Really disappointed.

The WIFI never recognized our name and room number! The front desk person had no idea how to solve anything. She should have called the manager. There was a dirty used wash cloth in the bathroom. The shower door henge has a missing screw and it’s very heavy. The shower had hot water on the first night and the next morning had ZERO hot water at 5:30 AM! The A/C would not turn on by itself unless you had to temp below 69. You cannot run the fan separately. The semi-truck traffic noise is non-stop and that’s a Valpo leadership problem. The breakfast was decent.

My husband and I arrived around two thirty, hoping to maybe check in a bit early because it was our anniversary. They told us it would be about a half hour, which we were okay with.So we walked around the property outside for a bit. We went back in to see if the room was ready.And we're told numerous times it's not ready.They're mopping the floor not much explanation. We sat there from 3 and didn't get into our room till about 5 o'clock. No apologies, no explanations and was very frustrating. The room was clean and quiet.Obviously it was a new hotel, so it should have been.That's partly why we stayed there. The hotel itself was great, but a very disappointed in the staff. I was disappointed with our stay and was offered no compensation discount or time to stay longer the next day since we lost 2 hours of our stay.
