Hotel für anspruchslose Gäste
Nach unseren Eintreffen hat das Personal erst einmal die Unterlagen zusammengesucht. Das zugewiesene Zimmer war in einem schlechten Zustand, die Toilette völlig verdreckt, so das wir ein anderes Zimmer gefordert haben. Das Zimmer wurde nicht täglich gereinigt und der Mülleimer nicht entsorgt. Das Frühstück bestand aus zwei Toastscheiben, einem Spiegelei und etwas Marmelade sowie eine Tasse Kaffee. Am Abreisetag war 07.30 Uhr noch keine Rezeption besetzt.

Don't stay here
This is one of the worst places we have stayed. We phoned to let them know we would be arriving in the after noon that day. They claimed to have no notification of our booking for late December despite booking a paying in full in October. When we arrived we were told they had no rooms. We produced evidence of our booking and still the manager tried to turn us away. We refused to leave and said we would phone hotels.com we were then shown a tiny room with one queen bed for 5 people which we could have. This was not what we had booked. We insisted they show us a room equivalent to what we had booked - eventually they did. It was vacant so I sat in it and refused to move. My husband then found a printed sheet at reception which had our names on it and dates. We phoned hotels.com who contacted the manager who now claimed to "speak no english". The accomodation was dirty. The fridge was humming loudly and did not cool. The airconditioning did not work. There was a water cooler in the room which was warm and had goodness knows what water in it. The bathroom was disgusting, the floor was sopping wet continually and was most likely coming from a leaky toilet. We stayed 3 out of 5 nights as it was new years and there was no alternative accommodation. We managed to find much better accommodation for the last 2 nights. Location was useless too. About 30 minutes drive from the centre of Chiang Mai where all the action is.

Old Style environment
My experience is in Unit 1. The owner and staff are very helpful, courteous and affable. the Baan Tawani district is cozy and quaint with a good deal of old style Thai artisan work. the motel itself is of Old Style design, with a beautiful little pool with rain, garden and a serene old growth garden environment for reading and relaxing between outings. My unit was perhaps the smallest and adjacent to the parking area. A good deal of light came through the curtains making it a bit difficult for me to sleep otherwise it was an excellent experience and wonderful place to pass the Buddhist New Year into 2557.

Nice architecture
well buildings old style and great Close to all craft mkts but pool green and dirty poor maintenance of grounds staff not happy little English dirt in shower needs lots and lots of TLC and could be a great place but at present well no. Same brekkie one egg one sausage every day. little signage re restaurant for e,g little customer relationship skills but of just after a bed its OK .

Restaurant close at 5 pm .you have to ask before ro receive food at 8pm.No restaurant around,nothing to do. No one speak English.Really have to have a good good reason to stay there like buisness
