Lisbon-Way apartments is in the Belem/Restelo area of Lisbon. This location is excellent for visiting many of the monuments, the "Pasties of Belem" and newer tourist sights, on foot. The city has excellent public transportation --- if you can figure out how to use it with multi-ride ticketing. I don't know where you can easily buy tickets and ask for information other than in the train stations which are not close by !!!
Lisbon-Way apartments is managed by Gonsalo, who lives onsite and is easily reached via "Whatsapp". He cannot do enough to make your stay welcoming and comfortable. The apartments are reached via stairs and there is no lift for those who have disabilities or difficulty climbing the stairs. However, he will offer to assist you with your bags to your apartment.
The apartments are large and comfortable, but not air conditioned. This may not be a problem most of the year, unless the temperature gets into the range of 80+ F ... when opening the windows and running fans (circulators) is necessary. There is a well-equipped kitchen with a dish washer and clothes washer/dryer built in. A full size refrigerator/freezer is also there. Dishes, pots and utensils make the kitchen very useful for when you don't feel like going to a restaurant.
Bedrooms are spacious and beds are very comfortable. Closets and storage are very adequate. Bathrooms are a little tight by USA standards, but modern and well-maintained. Entrance to the main door and your individual apartmen
