We loved it! Just like all the other reviews have said. This property was one of our favorites. It has such a unique feel to it. The family that runs it does such an amazing. The pool was really refreshing and you canât beat the view. We eat dinner all three nights we stayed there. It was like we were at a family dinner each time. From the pasta , to the sides, to the homemade wine and dessert. Everything was so delicious you had to control yourself ha ha. We never stopped talking about how much we loved this property throughout the rest of our trip in Sicily.
An absolute gem. We had a very nice dinner, all "bio" options, locally sourced / grown / cooked at a very good price. The hosts were super nice and attentive. The location is peaceful, has a great view and a wonderful swimming pool. I wanted my kids to experience one Agriturismo and I'm glad I chose this one. Definitely 10/10.
We only spent the night but absolutely loved this Bed and Breakfast. Rubina and Giacomo were wonderful hosts. They work very hard, their food is very fresh, everything grown on the property.
The views from the balcony were stunning. The walls are very thin, so you can hear your neighbors, but it was fine.
I would return in a heartbeat.
Hyggeligt familiedrevet landsted.
A lovely place to stay in Sicily, just in the hills a little, not far from the coast. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Very good food. Quiet surroundings.
It was a very peaceful stay for us!
The place is very cosy and lovely although the room itself is a bit old. The host family was soooo nice to us and the dinner they prepared was wonderful. Although we didnât use the pool due to the check out time, it looked great. The view is also speechless and we saw so many stars at night!
Be careful about the mosquitoes though as they are many and strong. In overall, very satisfied and happy during the stay. Thank you!!
L'Uliveto agriturismo was the last stop on our 2-week tour around Sicily. Even though all of the accommodations on our itinerary were nice in their own right - ranging between a B&B in Palermo and a fancy hotel in Taormina - L'Uliveto has really warmed our hearts. The welcome and care that the farm owners, Giacomo and Cherubina, have extended to us was genuine and unpretentious. As many previous guests have already pointed out, the farm itself is a place of tranquillity and charm, surrounded by flowers, olive and fruit trees.
Our 2-floor room (with en-suite bathroom) was simple but comfortable, with a lovely view out to the valley and sea. We were fortunate not to be needing the air-conditioner, though the room is equipped with one.
Cherubina's cooking calls for a special mention. For the first dinner we were treated to 15 (yes, we counted) different antipasti - all based on produce from the farm. You can't fail but feel the love with which they were prepared. We couldn't believe that the two of us could actually make our way through all of them, but we did. For the two breakfasts, in addition to tasty bread, jams (home-made, of course) and fruit (picked directly from the trees a few minutes earlier), the kind hostess baked biscotti and a fruit pie respectively. They were still warm when served. So were our hearts when we left the lovely couple and their farm.
What an amazing place and the people could not do enough for you. The food was home cooked amazing and plentiful. If you are in the area you must go you will be very happy you did!
