Very friendly staff, room was clean and location was walkable to downtown Charlevoix. Room could use updating as there was some peeling paint and the baseboard heaters were rusty, but it worked well for a quick one night stay.

Was there for nieces wedding . After complaining to manger she moved us from second floor room to first room which still wasn't much better the rooms are outdated, poor lighting, carpet needs replacing. They told us they were going to refund some of the money but never heard from them.

The owner and staff was very kind and helpful about the area. The room was 'dated' 1950's style, bringing back memories of my childhood when we would go on family vacations 'up north'. Very affordable and the location is in the middle of everything, coffee shop, Culver's, McDonald's, etc., across the road. Very close to the downtown area and Lake Michigan. We really enjoyed the chairs outside each room, making for an enjoyable evening.

We loved the feel of this retro style motel it seemed very well sound proofed as we heard zero noise from adjoining rooms. The only downside was the carpeting seemed to stick to your feet from improper cleaning/ to much cleaner left in the carpet

I really did enjoy staying there. There’s just a few things I was not fond of like how it was still kinda dirty, staff needs to have attention to detail. The lady that checked me in was dressed unprofessionally with her chest hanging out. There’s no breakfast lounge or washer n dryer. Besides the little things the place is very cozy, comfortable and the rooms are decorated nicely.

Nice Option for your budget.

Nicely remolded for the most part. Manager was incredibly energetic, congenial, eager to please, very responsive to fixing heat supply and readily available through the entire stay. (don't lose her)! Very comfortable for the age of the building. Good value for the price. Good location in town.
