The house was very clean, nice and cheap. It is 300 meters from the main city park and the Capitolio. The couple who work in the house are very nice people, they help, give good suggestions, and change money. They were very kind. The breakfast was great. I recommend everyone to go to Casa Carmen. The hotel was located had only a small sign to identify itself. The communication to enter was poor. It required actualy shouting to get attention. Their were two difficult flights of stairs to enter and a third to get to the room.

Great location in Havana. The family are lovely and were really helpful with social events and places to go. Breakfast was great and they were really welcoming on arrival. There is a breakfast room with a balcony where you can see the Capitol building. Great little place with 50's furniture and a eclectic style from different eras. There are a few stairs to climb but not too bad. Would highly recommend and hope to return one day.
