Interesting room
This hotel is in prime location but it was not like it's pictured or description it was given. There is no general store- Walgreens outside parking lot, same as the mini golf. There is 1 shuttle a day. The first room I stayed in was disgusting - there was condensation all over the furniture and floor. Had to wear socks so I didn't fall. No washcloths, hand towels or bath mat. When I mentioned these to desk clerks, one didn't know what condensation was and when I went to get washcloths one of the clerks rolled her eyes at me. I understand Fema has put people in there, talked to a resident that had been there a month. Guess it's better than nowhere ...barely. Electrical tape holding screws, mildew on door and walls. They should be paying you to stay in that room. The next day I said I wanted a different room and I got one by the pool. Totally different in a good way. The rug was dirty but the room had been renovated, no condensation! Slept good that night. Their breakfast is a cold food meal but ok.

The room looked like it was about to fall apart. The beds were very uncomfortable.
Front desk tells you to pay for any incidentals.
Just in case and it will be returned the same day as checkout and it has not been. I had to call and now they tell me. It takes 3 days. This place is very unprofessional.

Good value
This is an old hotel with ambiance. There were a couple of problems, but they were handled pleasantly and with good attitude by the friendly staff. Back in the 50s or 60s, this would have been the place to go for a good time. Anyone who must have perfect should not go there, but we would go back just to keep this hidden treasure in business.

DON’T STAY HERE FOR ANY AMOUNT OF MONEY
The first room had been broken into recently and the frame was warped, preventing it from shutting correctly. The second room they offered had a similar issue with the sort, but it was more secure. The telephone in the room was broken, the light in the bathroom didn’t work, the room had a weird smell, we found trash under one of the beds, and the carpeting was bald or had holes in several spots.

Worst hotel in Orlando beware
This hotel has to be the worse hotel in Orlando. The rooms look old and neglected nasty. The front desk personal focus on socializing neglect the front desk you have to yell out for service. They set me up in a room already occupied by another guess unacceptable. Stay away from that hotel.

Won't return or recommend
Don't have a phone in room, more than half the rooms broken or worse and mine room moldy and with leaks all over the bathroom roof and wet rugs. The air wasn't working too well and the furniture was beaten preety bad.

Poor Even the Internet
My first day into the room, I did not like the smell and you have to go to the front desk. If you need room service it wasn’t that clean. That is my biggest issue.

Awful
It was a complete lie from what was written on your site, and i am very desapointed of hotel.ca because you allow hotels to lie to us. I have been reserving with you for a long time at least 15 years, but this was my last. I have been fooled twice during that vacation. The hotel was representing themself as a resort and charging resort fees but there was nothing, the minigolf was destroyed by time, the bar at the swimming pool looked like a haunted wooden house and was not in service. The outside patio of the restaurant facing the lake had no chair or table and there was black mold in my room and so on. I think the pictures of the hotel were 30 years old. Please compare the photos with the one on your site.

Like staying in a ghost town
I was with three friends. They told us we would have two kingsize beds. Instead we had two FULL (smaller than queen) beds. Very crowded with four grown men in two tiny beds. The heater didn't work and it was in the 50s. I complained to the desk. They told us they'd send somebody to fix it. They didn't until the next morning, half an hour before checkout, so we slept cold. Weirdly there was no trash can anywhere in the room. There were only 3 bath towels, and no hand towels. (They happily gave me more when I went to the desk to ask). There must be 500 rooms in this complex in 10 different buildings, but it seemed mostly abandoned. It was like staying in a ghost town.

Honestly, you get what you pay for
If you expect high quality customer service and comfortable beds with clean carpets, this is not the place for you. I would go in with lower expectations. It’s a great place to just go to sleep- not stay for a full vacation. The ceilings are disgusting and I would never shower there. But it was fine to just a few hours of sleep.

Electricity only worked In part of the room. Only 1 of the 2 beds had pillows. Shower was covered in someone’s hair like it has not been cleaned. And there was no soap to wash hands only 1 small bottle of complimentary shampoo. Looked and felt really dirty. Glad we only stayed for one night.

Once a beautiful place.
The location is good near a lot of things.. Not sure why they charge a resort fee? At one time. This place must have been a beautiful destination, but not currently. Looks like people are living there. Because they stand outside their rooms and smoke. I was concerned about my vehicle overnight. Front desk service was spotty at best, took a while to get their attention, so I could check in. The place just seems run down now. My telephone looked like a beat up switch board from the eighties with all the buttons missing. If you need a place to sleep, this will work, but if you're staying more than overnight, you'll probably be disappointed.
