We didn’t stay the second night. Not only was it in an area that looked generally unsafe, but my sons and I were approached in our car by someone asking us about $$ as we tried to pull out of the parking lot. Our “no smoking room” smelled strongly like smoke. The whole place wreaked of pot. There is a single microwave in the front office and no ice or water anywhere. We should have left the first night. Police sirens ALL. NIGHT. LONG.

The good: ac was cold. The bad: rude employees, no hot water, electricity didn't work in areas, not all lamps worked, towels so old you can see through them, had to beg for ice, room is better suited for $39. Avoid if you can.

Poor communication with the manager, also Room key kept getting de-magnetized so I had to keep going to the office to get it re-magnetize to get into my room. They said that I shouldn’t keep the room key in the same pocket as my cell phone but that wasn’t the case and honestly that shouldn’t be an excuse. There are no amenities in the room no coffee makers or anything like that no Wi-Fi.

I stayed here because I was going to a concert at Proctors Theatre and this hotel was only a short 8 minute walk to the theater. I was pleasantly surprised by the room for an inexpensive hotel. The room was very clean and well maintained. The bed was reasonably comfortable the towels were fairly new and soft. The downside? The building on the outside could use some work and the area around the hotel was suspect. However, as you walk toward downtown it gets better quickly. Since I was only looking for a place to crash for one night after a concert, it served its purpose. (Bonus: there is a takeout gyro restaurant next door that is open late. That was a pleasant surprise on the walk back from bars after the concert!)

Staff was attentive but the inn needs updating though. The heat wasn’t great, the bathroom was freezing and the front door to the room needs sealing. It has cold air from outside coming straight in and its 6 degrees outside. I’m happy with the price of the stay though, it’s a place to rest your head. It’s probably a great place to stay in moderate temperatures than the dead of winter.

Only stayed one night close to proctors theater so I was able to walk. Good location for me. Overall the room isn’t a Hilton but it was clean and quiet. Served it’s purpose.
