Best location in Mt Dora
We loved the Inn atmosphere. The location is perfect, sunsets, lakeside bar, live music, rocking chairs on porch. The food in the dining room was tasty and reasonable. However, our room in the main building needed new carpet. Carpet in room and going up the stairs was filthy. I am hoping it is scheduled for replacement. I think the rooms in the newer buildings might be much better.

My new go-to favorite place. This is a gorgeous, historical hotel close in walking distance to everything Mount Dora has to offer! They even have a fantastic scavenger hunt you can do for a prize! Clean, elegant, beautiful, just plain perfect! Ask to play games on the garden lawn, too!

Such character and history at the Lakeside Inn. There is nothing modern about this place and that is what we love. Staff is extremely friendly and you are in the best location to walk everywhere. We will always stay here.
